A quiet house in Kyoto in a small, not very busy alley which means that it is quite quiet, several very good restaurants are nearby, as for the house itself, everything is very well equipped Reversible air conditioning, western bed as well as futon for a more traditional moment, a well-equipped kitchen, a Japanese-style bathroom which allows you to enjoy your small onsen (in the bathtub) every evening. The exceptional welcome given by Charlie who does not hesitate to give information on what to do and where to go during your stay to best adapt to the time you have chosen to stay in Kyoto (3 days for us) thanks to him we were able to make the most of this beautiful city, he will give you a list of these favorite restaurants (I strongly advise you to go and visit them).Nothing to complain about for this house as well as its welcome except that you can book it with your eyes closed.Thank you again for this exceptional moment, we will come back without hesitation.

In general we had an excellent experience with Japan experience except for this house. The stairs are super steep so it is difficult to climb with suitcases, especially since they have to be carried across the tatami. The bedroom is upstairs and the bathroom is downstairs, which complicates everything a bit. There was a leak in both the kitchen and the bathroom. But what we liked least was the location, there is no subway nearby, at LEAST it is 20 minutes by bus to get to any attraction or to a subway or other bus stop and from there there is still a long way to go. There is a truck stop 2 minutes away but that is not useful for most routes. We stayed 4 nights and for this reason I think we did not enjoy Kyoto as we did in the other places.

Second stay in the Koyasu house. Apart from a very steep staircase, the house is great and very functional. Everything you need to live is present. The bus stop is 1 minute away, the supermarkets 5 minutes away and the Chemin de la Philosophie and the Silver Pavilion less than 10 minutes away. House designed for 4 but perfect for two. We will return tip next trip to Kyoto. Stay from May 26 to June 3

Ideally located, the house is very easy to live in. The rooms are bright and the air conditioning is appreciated. We were well received by Vadim, who recommended some very good restaurants.
