The welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff, fresh daily floral displays, food, nice rooms and the focus given to exceptional cleanliness along with the extra attention given to even the smallest details are just a few of the reasons why I am giving them a 5 star rating. If I could, I would give them a 6 star rating. I would definitely recommend that you book your next stay with the Hotel Nikko Princess Kyoto. You will not be disappointed.

Great deal and value considering the massive size of the room you get for this price for Japan. It’s also super conveniently located within the walking distance of Shijo station. The hotel maybe 20 years old but the room are very well kept and clean. I would totally recommend this place over other similarly priced super small contemporary counterparts. As for the service, I think it’s excellent as expected of a four star hotel. Though I have to mention that I’m a Japanese speaker so I do not know about the English speaking of the staff here but my colleagues seemed to get by with them fine in English!

I always have fun and relax.Stay overnight or stop by. The restaurant has high praise for Japanese food, Chinese food, and steak teppanyaki. I think the staff's dedication is professional. The view from the room is nice, but you have to walk a lot unless you take a taxi or my car. I wish I could just relax for the distance I walked...but my luggage... This is a hotel that has created many memories.

I have stayed there several times and so far it has been very comfortable. . .This was the first time I noticed that the walls were too thin.Conversations in the next room and the TV bother you until late at night. It doesn't seem to be particularly loud or voluminous, but it resonates quite a bit and is very unpleasant.I cannot rate this as a hotel in this price range.I might have been able to tolerate it if the front desk had at least provided disposable earplugs. . .Have there been any complaints so far? It's a shame because I thought the staff were all polite and the room cleaning was very good.
