The hospitality of the staff was amazing!I was impressed by how everyone greeted me with smiles and greeted me.The exterior of the hotel is quite old, and the interior feels a little old, but it's clean. The cleaning seemed to be a little lacking, with the drawer handles being sticky and the hand mirror covered in dust.Breakfast was a buffet, but the buffet was average. There were no groups of people, so we had a quiet time.

I visited for the first time in a while, and the quiet atmosphere was still good. However, the food and drinks in the club room, including breakfast, were terrible in both taste and variety. It was not as good as many hotels around the world. I hope they will improve that.

No matter how you look at it, the breakfast venue is too small and not enough. There were 10 groups waiting for the lounge the day before, and I wondered what the platinum membership was for, but I was told that there were 15 groups waiting for breakfast the next day as well. This wouldn't make the day's itinerary go smoothly, so I gave up on breakfast. No matter how you look at it, there aren't enough staff, and people say the restaurant is full even though there are empty seats. If a wait time is expected, shouldn't they be made aware of this at check-in?I've been feeling sick since this morning.

The hotel was on the outskirts of the city but conveniently across from one metro line. Concierge was great, other front desk and housekeeping struggled with English. If you're going to be in the city a lot, this would be a little annoying to commute to and from daily. Rooms and building very outdated.Lounge was the best part (platinum and higher), full breakfast in the mornings. Only lounge we got while in Japan.Went to the Chinese restaurant on site, it was very expensive for what I got and service was very slow / erratic.Lastly, we did ask them to recommend a tofu restaurant for dinner one night, they told us the name and said they made a reservation for us. We understood what the front desk said was a $100yen cancellation fee. Unfortunately, the next day we were exhausted and asked them to cancel it - they said there were no same day cancellations (new info) and we would have to pay the whole price of $15k yen (new info). This was unfortunate and we repeatedly told them none of this was communicated to us, but the person on the phone was not great with English so we were forced to pay it.

We also upgraded our room to a larger room. This was my second visit, and I felt the same way last time, but the best part was that the staff always greeted me modestly with a smile. The Japanese breakfast was excellent this time as well. Recommended. There were many customers serving Japanese food at Ito Sakura. As always, we enjoyed delicious Japanese food served on three tiers. It's been a while since I last stayed here, but this time I was upgraded to a suite. Sweet rooms are ⚪12.⚪55.⚪56 on each floor, and ⚪70 is the largest room. Although the food in the lounge was a bit lacking in volume, it was still quite satisfying.
