It is located at the bottom of Higashiyama Gojo. Kiyomizu-dera Temple is within walking distance. It's the perfect location for touring the Higashiyama area. It's a popular tourist destination, so it was great for an early morning stroll before it gets crowded.I stayed in a room on the first floor. It's a little further back from the main street, so it was quiet.The small Japanese-style room with tatami mats is relaxing. When you open the shoji window, there is a small courtyard, which has an elegant atmosphere.The water area, including the mini kitchen, was very clean. The bath and toilet are separate, which I also appreciated.

Used for private and events.It's a short walk from the nearest station on a main street, but even though I'm not good at maps, I was able to get there without getting lost, and I didn't have to worry about the noise of cars or other street noises more than I expected.I used both the first and second floors, and I really liked the space, which was neither too large nor too small, and had a very relaxing feel, and the stylish exterior and interior, which combined the best of Japanese and Western styles.The scent of tatami, the cute courtyard, and the shoji screens are all attractive, but the kitchen is uniquely cute, and the bathroom is also very spacious and sophisticated, with a design and floor plan that will please women.If you walk a short distance from the inn, there are not only sightseeing spots but also many convenience stores and restaurants, so you can walk around Kyoto and feel a little more familiar.I used it for both lodging and hourly rentals, and the price was so reasonable that I couldn't believe it was of such quality.I want to use it again.

About 15 minutes walk from Kiyomizu Temple.A wonderful inn that stands dignifiedly at the back of the main street.I was excited from the entrance 😊When I entered the room, the room was very clean.I can tell that the staff are cleaning carefully ✨It's good for several people to use it, and I think you can stay calmly even if you're alone 😊It was great that there were many spots nearby where you could feel Kyoto 👍

The homely feeling and the scent of tatami mats are very calming ✨ The kitchen is quite spacious and you won't feel like you're in a hotel, which is amazing.‼ ️It's a great advantage to be close to various tourist spots such as Kiyomizu Temple and Yasaka Shrine 👍 Convenience stores are also very close, and there are many restaurants nearby.It's close to the nearest station, Gion Shijo Station, so transportation is convenient.

Good location near Kiyomizu Temple. This is a private guest house with very good cost performance!The interior is simple and clean, and it has everything you need, as well as a kitchen.It's a smooth process if you visit Kiyomizu-dera Temple from Ninenzaka and Sanneizaka, then descend from Gojozaka and stay here.There are many wonderful shops in this area, so you can spend a fulfilling day just by using this as your base and visiting the nearby areas.

Good location and pretty good value for money.I stayed on the 1st floor, but if you rent the 2nd floor at the same time, you can stay with your family.In fact, next time I'd like to stay with my family.There are still many sightseeing spots in Kyoto that I would like to visit, so I would like to use this hotel again.Also, the bathroom was really nice, and since it's a detached house, I didn't have to worry about noise.I think that's the big difference from a hotel.There is a space where you can park your bicycle, so we recommend renting a bicycle.
