We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Emion for 3 nights in a triple room. The hotel is very new and the facilities are awesome such as viewing the washer and the Onsen availability on our room TV! The location was excellent via JR train. It's just a few minutes walk. A 7-11 is very near by too. I do have to say there were 2 days our room wasn't cleaned very well. The hotel tote bags were scattered across the room on the sofa and the floor. A tray of finished sushi was left by the room entrance but they did not throw it out. Overall we were very happy staying at Hotel Emion. I have recommended it to my friends.

One stop from Kyoto Station. It takes about 10 minutes on foot. There is a train track next to the road, and since it comes through Umekoji Park, it is worth walking. The hotel lobby is on the 3rd floor, and the 1st and 2nd floors are restaurants. The hotel provides a voucher (1,000 yen per person). You can go to Umekoji Kyoto Nishi Station through the second floor (a bit of a walk), and the station is adjacent to Umekoji Park.Umekoji Park was really nice, and if you have kids, there are places like Kyoto Aquarium (dolphin show), so the hotel's location is good. The breakfast area is slightly small compared to the size of the hotel, so in some cases, you may be given a waiting ticket or have to eat in a subroom(?).Wi-Fi is shared, but the speed is very slow. If you turn on the hotel TV and look at the mirroring category, you can see the room's unique Wi-Fi password, and the speed is slightly faster than the public one.Accommodation tax for 4 days and 3 nights for 2 adults and 1 child was 1,800 yen.

The front desk was very friendly and the sky terrace on the rooftop was very nice. You can also move around in the large public bath wearing room wear, making it comfortable. The private space was protected with a room key, and the women's bath was also unlocked with a special card key. However, my husband said that there were a lot of foreigners and the etiquette in the men's public bath was bad. It's a shame.

The customer service was just the worst!Especially the people at the front desk and the public bath...The response from the front desk made me feel like I was being made fun of and looking down on me...Even though it was written that it was not allowed, a baby in diapers was also in the public bath. However, the staff at the public bath have not heard that babies are not allowed...Yes, it is written! If you tell me that, I will say it...teeth! ?It became!Anyway, it's the worst...It was a shame as it was a beautiful hotel!I'll never come again!I can't recommend it to anyone! This is my first time writing a review, and the response was the worst.

My family spend 4 nights here in early September, I absolutely love this hotel!!! This one is my favoutie among my 16 days Japan Trip. The cost was below 20000 yen per night for a room with 3 beds. The location of the hotel is excellent. After exiting the subway station, the second-floor bridge directly leads to the hotel entrance, and it only takes about three minutes to walk there. The girl at the front desk spoke English very well, the best I've encountered in Japan's service industry. Our room was on the 8th floor, and it was amazing—spacious with a large floor-to-ceiling window offering a great view of the city. One of the hotel's highlights is the indoor onsen, which is a nude bath, but surprisingly large and not crowded. The opening hours are from 6 AM to 10 AM and from 3 PM to 1 AM. Most of the time, you can have a pool all to yourself. In the men's bath, you first rinse off while sitting, then enter the pool. There are three pools: two hot ones and one cold one, along with a sauna. The hot pools are about 3 to 4 meters in length and width, while the cold pool is also over 2 meters wide. The cold pool is very cold—I'd guess the temperature is around 5°C.During our stay, we soaked in the onsen one or two times a day. No matter what time we went, it was never crowded, and most of the time, there was only one person in each pool. Over the few days I stayed, I developed my own routine: first, soak in the hot pool, then switch to the cold pool, and finally spend 5-10 minutes in the sauna. The hotel’s rooftop has an observation deck where you can see the buildings around Kyoto and the mountains in the distance. If you stay here, you should definitely go to the rooftop and enjoy the view.I stayed with my family for 4 nights in early September and absolutely love this hotel! This hotel was my favorite during my 16 day trip to Japan. The price was less than 20,000 yen per night for a 3-bed room. The hotel's location is excellent. After leaving the subway station, the connecting bridge on the second floor leads directly to the hotel entrance, which can be reached in about 3 minutes on foot. The female staff at the front desk spoke very good English, and she was one of the most fluent English speakers I've ever met in the Japanese service industry. Our room was on the 8th floor and was surprisingly spacious with large floor-to-ceiling windows allowing us to enjoy views across the city. One of the features of this hotel is the indoor hot spring bath. It's a hot spring that you can bathe in naked, but it was unexpectedly large and there weren't many people. Business hours are from 6am to 10am and from 3pm to 1am. Most of the time, you can have one bathtub to yourself. When you enter the men's bathroom, you first sit down, wash your body, and then soak in the bathtub. There are 3 bathtubs inside, 2 hot tubs, 1 cold tub, and even a sauna. Both hot tubs are about 3 to 4 meters long and wide, and cold tubs are also over 2 meters wide. The temperature in the cold bath is very low, I would guess around 5 degrees Celsius.During my stay, I took a hot spring bath once or twice a day. It wasn't crowded at any time of the day and there was only one person in each tub most of the time. Over the course of a few days, I developed my own routine. First, take a hot tub, then a cold tub, and finally a sauna for 5 to 10 minutes. There is an observation deck on the roof of the hotel, from which you can see the buildings around Kyoto and the mountains in the distance. If you stay here, be sure to go to the rooftop and enjoy the view.

Mom was very satisfied! It's one course from Kyoto Station, but you always have to change because it's on the other side. Other than that, everything was good. I had breakfast, but foreigners are treated roughly. I can speak Japanese, but the front desk was really friendly and the breakfast area was decent. But mostly satisfied
