Very nice and beautifully decoratedAll rooms are spacious and beautifully authentically decorated. Complete kitchen, especially the special bathroom with the round bathtub overlooking a small garden was a pleasure. The relaxation room is pleasant to sit in, even in winter. The various rooms were well heated with an extra heater. The beds are delightful with wonderfully thick duvets and warm extra blankets everywhere. It was freezing outside, which was quite unusual for this environment.

I stayed there with my mother. It was my first time staying in a Kyomachiya, so I was very satisfied! Not only was it comfortable with home-like facilities, but the best part was that I didn't have to worry about other people's noises because I rented the whole house! It was a waste for just the two of us, so now we can do it with the whole family!

My daughter and I used it.It was a busy time in Kyoto, but this inn was right near the train station, so I was able to arrive easily without worrying about traffic jams. (There were so many people lined up at the bus stop that it seemed like it would be difficult to get on the bus...)Located down an alley from the main street, it was a quiet and safe location. When you open the door, you will find a wonderful modern Japanese space! The bathroom, toilet, and kitchen facilities were modern and easy to use, the linens were clean, and the bed was comfortable. For dinner, we had delicious obanzai at a restaurant about a 2-minute walk away, but there was also a convenience store, so I don't think you'll have any trouble finding food. The next morning, I took a walk along the Kamogawa River, bought some bread, and ate it at the hotel. There are many delicious bakeries in Kyoto, and many of them are open early in the morning, which is helpful. The inn was equipped with a toaster, electric kettle, and nice tableware, so we had a luxurious breakfast while soaking up the Kyoto morning light!I was able to relax and feel like I was in a villa. It was a fun trip thanks to you. I would definitely like to use it again.thank you very much!

This place was very special. The staff was so nice and flexible, we could also check out later than usual after we arranged with them. The place is so nice, much better than most hotels. It has everything you need and you feel like at home. If you go in winter be prepared it is freezing cold in the house, but if you turn on the air con on maximum it gets warmer with time.

We stayed for 3 nights and 4 days with 2 families and 6 people including children. The inn is built like an old folk house, and you can enjoy a calm atmosphere. You can reach Kamogawa with a short walk, and there are convenience stores nearby. It's a very relaxing place to stay. There are also plenty of tableware and home appliances, so you can cook your own meals. Please note that there are no seasonings.I divided the beds so that one family lived in a bedroom and the other family lived in a Japanese-style room. To be honest, you can't really get much privacy because the sounds of conversations can be heard everywhere. Also, the bath and toilet are in the same place, so be careful if you stay with someone other than your family. The usual supplies such as toothbrushes are provided, so you don't have to worry. There is no problem when staying as a family, but we recommend that you be aware of this when staying with other people. If that is not a problem, it was a very nice inn and I highly recommend it.
