It is highly recommended to stay for one or two nights when you come to Ohara👍Old-fashioned Japanese house converted into a B&BContrary to what I originally imagined, the interior is very clean and comfortable. The owners of the B&B are an old couple who are quite friendly and can communicate in simple English on basic matters.Yukata are provided free of charge and bicycles can be borrowed for free.Dinner is miso chicken hotpot, the vegetables and chicken are very fresh and delicious! The tempura is also delicious. The sauces that come with it are very flavorful.Sake is very smooth~It is recommended that if you are dining for 2 people, you can ask if you can order an extra portion for 1 person, because it is so delicious. After the host cooks hot pot for the guests, he will be very enthusiastic to help take photos, so when eating dinner, remember to put on the yukata provided by the B&B.Breakfast is generous! Very delicious too!The public bathroom has a large bathtub, which is very comfortable to take a bath~ I personally like it very much!Although the men's and women's bathrooms and men's and women's toilets are shared, they are maintained very clean!Bath supplies, facial cleansing products, and small towels are all available. There are also massage chairs.(Those who are afraid of bathing with others may want to pay attention)The bed is very comfortable to sleep on~Some rooms are located on the second floor. If it is not convenient to go upstairs, you may need to confirm the room location with the B&B first. There are Sanzen-in Temple and Jikko-in Temple nearby. You can also drive to Eizan Electric Railway Kifuneguchi Station and Kurama Station in 25 minutes.Worth recommending!

If you are going to Ohara, please definitely stay here! ㅜㅜㅜThe owners are really, really, really friendly.Breakfast and dinner are also really delicious. It's a bed and breakfast with a great atmosphere that really made me have the best trip of my life. The downside is that there are no curtains, so you have to wake up early in the morning. If you wake up early, you can eat breakfast as soon as you wake up, so you're lucky.Even if I don't go to Kyoto, I want to stop by Ohara and this guest house again. You can also rent bicycles. The convenience store is a little far away, but it's really emotional if you go there by bicycle.

I stayed here in mid-July.Located between the destinations Jakko-in and Sanzen-in.It was close to the bus stop and Sato Station. It was convenientIt was a plan that included 2 meals in the morning and dinner. The rice is deliciousI had to refill my rice both in the morning and in the evening. My stomach was always full🍚Also, from the landladyIngredients for hotpot for dinner on the second day for the same priceYou can change it.Because I was told thatI had the ingredients of the hot pot changed on the second day.Plus, get one free drink on the second day.I was also happy that it was 🍺✨The room is large enough to sleep about 4 people. It was a Japanese-style room for two people, and it was spacious.Bath, toilet, wash basin, refrigerator, etc.It was sharedThe water area is clean everywhere.I was surprised in a good way. There is also free bicycle rental available. When I say a word to the person staying at the hotel,Because it can be used freelyI have used it many times 🚲️The landlady and the husband are both very friendly people.About surrounding tourist attractions and OharaThank you for letting me knowI can talk very frankly. Not found in large hotels or innsI felt the goodness of a guesthouse.I was able to thoroughly enjoy my relaxing trip.It was good♪I think I went to Ohara again.

I highly recommend it if you stay in Oraha. There is no onsen, but it is cheap, well maintained and friendly. The food is delicious, and you can borrow bicycles for free so you can use them even after checking out.

Select the peony hotpot plan.10,000 yen is too cheap for this content! The peony hotpot was made with a white miso base and tasted like I was eating wild meat. The room was small, only 4 and a half tatami mats, but it felt like it tickled a man's heart, so it was a good thing. The bath is small, so you have to check the timing before entering. You can also rent bicycles, so it's best to use them to go to Jakkoin. The trip was tough, but the ride back was all downhill and felt great.

This is a wonderful place and anyone who is looking for an authentic ryokan experience should not be put off by the shared bathroom facilities - they are comfortable and spotlessly clean. The food is wonderful and the hosts are totally charming. The inn backs on to a river and the village and the countryside around is very attractive. It’s very easy to get to on public transport and a pleasant bus ride up the river valley from the metro station in Kyoto. Don’t hesitate to. Highly recommended.
