I used it with my family before Obon.As expected from a long-established restaurant, the food and hospitality were satisfying. The tatami room was located at the far end of the long, narrow premises, and I was humbled by the waiter's hand carrying each dish along the garden.

A long-established "Kyo Cuisine" restaurant that has been around for over 440 years. A Japanese-style garden of about 600 square meters. Experience the Japanese "Wabi-Sabi" and in this atmosphere, taste the "Kyo cuisine" inherited from a long-established store.

The environment is very quiet. Even on a very hot summer day at noon, as soon as you step into the garden environment of the tea house, you will feel very comfortable. Then the staff kindly took us into a small private room. The environment inside was very good. There was a separate toilet and we could see the river and birds outside from the window. The indoor air-conditioning temperature was also carefully adjusted by the staff, so it was very comfortable. coolThe staff quickly served us iced tea and a drink menu. We were very thirsty and hot, so we ordered iced cider and ginger ale without saying a word, and then the food was served quickly. Really considerateIn terms of food: I highly recommend the eel rice. Because it is cooked right after the guests arrive, the eel is at just the right temperature and is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It is unforgettable. The eel sauce is served separately, so guests can drink as much or as little as they like. Regarding the amount of juice, I prefer less juice, so I am very satisfied with this arrangement. Kaiseki cuisine is also good. The whole dining experience is beyond expectations, very good and cost-effective.When we finally left, the landlady and a staff member who served us kindly saw us off, which was very hospitable.

One of the most important Kyoto itineraries is Kawabata Yasunari's favorite Heihachi Tea House, just like you must go to Kiyomizu Temple or Gion to experience Kyoto life. …
