55 years ago, I stayed at Maruya Ryokan on a school trip to Kyoto and Nara for elementary school, and 10 years ago, on a trip to Kyoto, a sightseeing bus passed by Kyoto University, so I looked for it, and there it was.Nowadays, the building has changed and become more impressive, but for some reason there was no pillow fight back then. The husband and wife are kind and the rooms are clean! My first experience at a Japanese style inn, it was a great experience☺️The area around the inn is quiet and there is a station nearby, so it is convenient. The only downside is that maybe the pillows are a bit uncomfortable.

Thank you for helping me with my elementary school field trip.Old photos of Ucchannanchan were on display.Write a letter to yourself one year from now and submit it to the inn (it will be shipped from the inn one year later)Maybe because it was a private stay,The food they prepared for us was prepared in advance, and by the time it was time to eat it, it was completely cold and tasteless. The house had not been thoroughly cleaned, so for someone like me who has an allergy to house dust, my nose kept running all night, which was very painful for me.Personally, I don't want to stay there again.

The room wasn't that clean, it didn't have a refrigerator or Wi-Fi (there was Kyoto Wi-Fi, but the connection was poor), and the men's toilet was Japanese-style and there was only one Western-style toilet. The staff was also a little unfriendly. The rice sukiyaki was very delicious.
