Our very gracious hostess and her team made our stay here one of the most exceptional experiences in my life. A truly fantastic and authentic Japanese stay in a peaceful and beautiful ryokan. I highly recommend this hotel. The dinner and breakfast were both of the very highest quality. Thank you.

I expected great hospitality from a 2-star hotel, but the landlady was extremely rude and I will never use the hotel again. When dinner was being served, the hostess suddenly asked, ``Would you like to wear Japanese or Western clothes for the wedding?''It was a sudden question that had no context for the conversation, so I didn't understand why and didn't answer. The young hostess who was serving the meals together? Mr. Nakai? I left the room while whispering something.Up until then, I had been called ``master'' and ``ma'am,'' but that had completely stopped, and I was now calling them ``accompanied-sama'' when I called to report something I had lost.It may be important to understand the relationship between guests, but I have never been asked such an obvious question even at a popular inn. There is an age difference of about 15 years, and I think it's because I speak in honorific language.I think they ask similar questions to men and women who seem to have a suspicious relationship to find out their relationship. When I left the room after checking out, the young proprietress was already there? Mr. Nakai? was in front of the room. Because of what had happened the day before, it was creepy to think that I had been listening in on my conversation without even knocking. It was a special trip that only happens a few times a year, so I'm really disappointed.

There are many reasons to go to Kanazawa, for us it was the Kenroku-en Gardens. And there are many hotels to choose from, but the Ryokan Asadaya seemed special—and it was.||What made it special? …

Looking out the windows of Asadaya, you’d never suspect you are in a large city. From the second you are greeted, time just seems to slow down. …

It is listed separately in Kanazawa City's "Asada Family" and "Asada Family Inn." Even if you search for ``Asada House'', you won't find ``Asada House'' in Kanazawa City. …

A long-established inn in Kanazawa competes for number one. We were treated to lunch at an event. I'm glad that the proprietress, the chef, and all the staff were so considerate in the heat of the day. …
