I stayed here before the earthquake. It was a decent room with an open-air bath, but the door at the entrance of the room creaked and was difficult to open and close.I filled out a questionnaire about this, but there was no response, which is unfortunate, although the staff did their best to respond.Even after the reconstruction, the question is whether to go or not.

As expected, it has been selected many times as the best inn in Japan by professionals, but there were a lot of inbound Chinese customers and it was so noisy that I couldn't feel comfortable. Personally, I recommend Matsuno Aoi, which is next door, where I stayed the day before. Although the fee structure is higher than that of the main building, there are no customers with low social standards, so it is quiet and relaxing.

It goes without saying that Wakura Onsen is a popular inn that represents hot spring resorts in Japan. There are many strong fans in Taiwan, and I was grateful that even if I wasn't staying there, I could use the souvenir shop inside the inn if I asked at the front desk. It was severely damaged by the Noto Peninsula earthquake that occurred on January 1, 2024, and there are large cracks in the exterior walls. According to reports in local newspapers and other sources, construction work including renovations and seismic reinforcement will be carried out with the aim of resuming operations in 2026. It can be said to be the face of Noto, and it employs many people, so I hope it will do its best to revive it.

I thought Sazu was the best inn in Japan! The inside of the building is so big that you might get lost! !It's expensive, but I think it's worth staying at least once. The food was also great ☆☆☆☆☆
