It was my first time using it, and the room (house?) was very clean and had a nice atmosphere. My friend and his wife from overseas who stayed with us were also very satisfied. The person who handled check-in was also a very nice person. It's good that it's quiet because it's a little far from the station and there are no other hotels nearby, but it would be very helpful if you could leave your luggage before check-in and after check-out.

A lovely escape and experience at this beautifully decorated and fitted machiya. Delivers exactly what you see in the pictures! The bathtub is a plus! A short walk to Higashi-chaya and served by several local buses. We had the Tea Ceremony experience too in the machiya, very touched and educated with the tea master's sharing. Across the road is a great izakaya Kisaragi. Only things this machiya is missing are a microwave and a little garden.

Not bad but a bit of a walk from the main tourist spots. There are local buses running at quite regular intervals. A Family Mart is a 3 min walk.The room was beautiful!Unique beautiful "Tamari" decorative balls all over the place.Heated floor tiles and heated tatami mats were really nice in the cooler season.Big bathroom and wooden bath.The only negative is it's surrounded by quite an old unkept neighborhood. Open the window shade to what looks like a trashy vacant lot... So keep the shades closed.Kanazawa was just beautiful.Highly recommended!Try the gold leaf ice cream.

The atmosphere of the room was very nice! They had a great sense of interior design that took advantage of old buildings! The room and bathroom were nice and clean, and I would like to use them again if I have the opportunity. Speaking of greed, I thought it would be nice to have a wall-mounted TV in the bedroom too! Overall great!

It was my first time using the room, but the interior was very nice, and the bedding and amenities were luxurious, making my stay very comfortable.My husband was also very satisfied with the courteous service and friendly personality of the employees who came to check in.I also liked that I couldn't hear any noise from my neighbors even though they were right next to each other.It was a very enjoyable trip as I was able to relax and not worry about my surroundings.
