This family-run Ryokan is the right place to "test" this typical Japanese apartment.Dinner is served strictly in the room until 7.30pm and is good and plentiful. When you have finished the girls will expertly prepare your room for the night. In the morning you can choose whether to have Western or Eastern breakfast.Little anecdote. After checking out the Ryokan attendant came out with us to point us in the correct direction to where to catch the bus.

Classic family-run Japanese-style ryokan. |If initially the structure may seem a little old and with something to fix, all doubts disappear thanks to the cleanliness, the cuisine and the kindness of the staff. …

Like everyone, I am very used to standard hotels and therefore the idea of a ryokan and its futons on the floor and paper walls made me a little nervous. …

Loved staying at Nakayasu Ryokan. It was quiet, cool, and the blankets in the rooms were super comfy after long days of traveling and exploring the city. Very close to the Market and the Castle. A 15 minute walk to the geisha district. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The warm complementary tea in the room was delightful.

Thank you for your help on April 13th and 14th.The student part-time worker was very nice and always greeted me with a smile. It was clear that all the staff at the inn value creating a homely atmosphere.I was a little nervous at first because the baths and toilets at the inn were shared, but when I went there, I didn't meet anyone in the toilets, and I was glad that I could use the bath privately. The seafood bowl for dinner was also very delicious, with many ingredients that can only be found in Kanazawa, and it looked gorgeous.Breakfast consisted of very delicious stews and fish, mainly Japanese food, and the miso soup was different from the miso from the area where I live, with a lighter and sweeter taste, and the miso from Kanazawa was delicious. It was nice to be able to spend a quiet time in the room.I felt that the location was very good as the inn was within walking distance of Higashi Chaya District, Kenrokuen Garden, and Omicho Market. It was a ryokan where I made many fun memories and would like to stay again when I return to Kanazawa.thank you
