The location is good, very close to various food stores and shopping zone, and just few min. walk to metro. The room size is a not big, my room type is twin bedroom, but there’s no gap between 2 bed, seems they sacrificed some space for the bathtub, the sink has been set up next to the TV table. You can open two luggage and fully occupied the corridor. The most important issue is the hotel start the new policy by early Dec., will only exchange new towel and clean up trash daily, the first day the housekeeping forgot to clean up those used towel and just put onto the floor, the entrance became very dirty due to the malted snow from your shoes and coat, so I strongly suggest do not stay in this hotel more than 2 nights in winter.

Location was good, located on the shopping street. About 3 minutes walk to Susukino subway station, via underground. Hotel room was quite dusty. Small room, barely enough floor space to open 1 luggage. …

Stayed here in February during the Snow Festival. Great location right on Tanukikoji shopping street. The room was pretty spacious. The sink was outside the bathroom which was nice, and the toilet was separate from the bath so you can take a Japanese style bath. I opted to get breakfast and it was really good, especially that beef curry! The front desk was friendly and accommodating- they were able to move me from a smoking room to a non-smoking room. They also store luggage for the morning after check out.

The hotel is right next to the one of the bussiest areas, very close to city transport and various attractions. We stayed in a smoking room and it was nice but you can feel the smell of cigarets from the previous person. We didn't mind that tho. Very nice hotel and looks so luxurious! Will def come back!

Rooms: Non-Smoking Double Bed & Smoking Twin RoomStay: 3 nights - January 2024Location:+ This hotel couldn't be better placed for exploring Sapporo. Right off Tanukikoji's bustling Block 5, you're steps away from a foodie paradise - Yakiniku Like for sizzling meats, 2nd Street for fashion finds, and MEGA Don Quijote for discount treasures.+ From JR Sapporo station, it'll take you around 10 - 15 minutes of walking under Sapporo Ekimae-dori underground walkway via West Gate, and exiting in Pole Town once you see the Baskin Robbin to the right.+ For hobbyists, Norbesa mall is right across, housing Surugaya and Mandarake for anime and manga goodies, and a giant Gachapon zone. Fuel up for ramen adventures at Ichiran Ramen, right there in the mall.Breakfast:+ Fresh sashimi, dried fish, and squid greeted us daily, a delightful way to kickstart the morning.+ The Mongolian beef and shanghai noodles were another win, flavorful but not greasy.+ My companions enjoyed their coffee, while I savored the Katsugen probiotic drink, a pleasant alternative to Yakult with less sweetness and sourness.Amenities:+ Compared to other hotels in Tokyo, they offer a bunch of different scents for their bath salts to which are more fragrant and soothing to the skin.Hotel:- While their are smoking rooms situated in the higher floors, I found the elevator sometimes smelled like cigarette at times. While the occasional whiff of cigarette smoke from the higher floors (smoking rooms) was a minor annoyance, our stay at Hotel Vista Sapporo Odori was a delightful immersion into Sapporo's culinary and shopping scene. We visited during Winter, to which the temperature could drop to around -8°C so I would advise bringing at least 3 layers of clothing to combat the cold, and watch out where you step as the hardened ice can be slippery as compared to fresh snow to which was soft (since I tripped).

Very good location in heart of shopping strip. Take the exit in the subway right next to baskin and Robbins and that will leave you closest and in the shopping strip if you are coming from Sapporo station direction, keep walking straight after exitinf and it will be on the left

Hotel is located right at the Tanuki-cho shopping street = big plus! It is a big advantage as you can shop whenever the crowd is not too high. Bathroom is separated from stall, making you have better privacy.  …

Very good place to stay with lots of convenience and comfort. Easy access for bus heading to New Chitose Airport. Some walking distance to monorail stations, but there are underpasses which were good to explore.
