There are many hot spring pools with rich spring quality. The ingredients for dinner are fresh and it is a good accommodation experience.

This is a really friendly and nice hot spring hotel. It has several indoor and outdoor hot springs.A bus runs to and from Sapporo for 1,000 yen one way.You can get on and off in front of Sapporo TV Tower. There is a large souvenir shop inside, and they sell a lot of snacks that you can't find in duty-free shops or anywhere else. The staff is really friendly, so in terms of service, this hotel deserves less than 10 stars. It is also good to visit Hell Valley or Oyunuma Pond on foot.

I was deciding which ryokan to choose in Noboribetsu and this was the one I chose. It was a ryokan that I was satisfied with on my first trip to Hokkaido. The advantage of Mahoroba Ryokan is its really large bathing facilities. The men's and women's baths change in the morning and evening, so you can experience both outdoor hot spring facilities. There are about 20 baths in the bathhouse, so it will take quite a while to soak in each one. In the area where you can sit and wash, products such as shampoo, body wash, and conditioner are provided for convenient use. The outdoor hot spring bath is designed so that you can enjoy the hot spring while looking out at the mountains, so you can enjoy a pleasant half-body bath. Meals are buffet-style, with breakfast and dinner available at the ryokan. Mahoroba is quite large so there are quite a lot of people, but the tables and food are set up well enough for people to fully enjoy their meal. There is a cable car in front of the accommodation that can take you to the Noboribetsu Bear Farm, so it's a good idea to visit if you have time. Hell Valley is also within walking distance from the ryokan, making it easily accessible. I think this is a good ryokan in Noboribetsu in many ways. I intend to visit again.

Not a bad experience. The location is good, the rooms are in good condition, but the downside is that the restaurant is very crowded on the weekend.

It feels like an old hotel that is often found in hot spring areas, but I was satisfied because the hot spring felt so good.[Good points]・You can enjoy three types of spring water (acidic iron spring, salt spring, and sulfur spring) in the spacious large public bath. The changing and washing areas are also spacious, so it didn't seem to be a problem even if it was crowded.・We had a buffet for dinner and breakfast, but there were many dishes made with Hokkaido ingredients that gave us a sense of individuality.・The room was quiet and I slept well.[Not so good]-The overall equipment is old.・There was a little distance from the guest room to the public bath.・The changing room in the public bath was in the form of a basket rather than a locker. There was a separate locker for valuables, but it was a little inconvenient.

If you go to Noboribetsu,I was torn between two places: Daiichi Takimotokan and Mahoroba. I thought so because they were two of the biggest and most famous places. In terms of location, Mahoroba is at the beginning of Noboribetsu village, so it was easy to access, but it's not far, so it's okay. The biggest thing compared to Daiichi Takimotokan is the service! From the time I entered that place until the time I left, I was treated so harshly that it brought tears to my eyes, but it wasn't like that here.Unfortunately, it may have been because it was a time when many Japanese people were visiting.Or maybe they were a little tired of tourists. From the time we first entered Mahoroba until the time we checked out, it felt like we were just passing through rather than welcoming people. Many people may not care about this, but our group was a little disappointed.I reserved a taxi when checking out, and the driver was waiting for me, but there was no guidance, so I waited somewhere else, or the timing was bad, especially when eating at a restaurant. A few bad memories arose. The price was slightly cheaper than Daiichi Takimotokan. When it comes to hot springs, if you remember Dae Hot Springs, which was huge,This place felt like a large bathhouse that utilized the space well.Still, it was fun because there were many types of soup. The water is so good that I am very satisfied!I especially have fond memories of the outdoor Myoban Onsen, which has a women's bath and a men's bath starting at dawn.I think I'll keep thinking about the moderately warm temperatures and cold fall weather.I was really looking forward to the meal because it included snow crab and steak. Those who like fish can enjoy it at Kaisen-dong,The melon and salad, especially the cucumber, are very delicious.Other than that, there were a lot of unique flavors added, similar to Chinese food, and there were many dishes using fish, so it wasn't too much effort. It was a shame that the steak was a little cold, but I'm always excited about the banquet-style buffet.I really liked the breakfast. The milk was really delicious, and the best part was the thick bacon. The grilled fish that you grill yourself is also very delicious. It's good to go at the end of your trip, it's calm and quiet, you can fully enjoy the hot springs, and if you like fish dishes, Mahoroba is the place to go.If you are planning to start your trip, are taking the elderly or children, or want a festival-like atmosphere and have a picky appetite, you should choose Daiichi Takimotokan.
