This means that it is an old and dilapidated inn. An old inn with a strong Showa feel. I liked it because it was cheap and comfortable, but the fact is that it was old and worn out. People who are concerned about such things should stop playing. The equipment is old. It feels like the Showa era, with shared toilets and washrooms. The toilet is Western style, but it is not a shower toilet. There was a creaking noise in the hallway, and you could hear it when someone moved, even if you were in the room. The walls are also thin. The door is also thin and feels creaky. It's not that it's tidy, and I wouldn't say it's filthy, but it's definitely not well-cleaned.The bathtub was large enough for two adults to comfortably take a bath. It felt good. The washing area is small and can only accommodate one person. It is a family bath style, and at the entrance, flip the ``vacant'' plate to change it to ``bathing in progress'' and lock it. There are two baths. It was empty when I stayed there, but it might be difficult to take a bath when it gets crowded.Cheap hotels often don't have futon mattresses, but this hotel had mattresses in addition to the futons, which was helpful. There was only one comforter and I wanted a blanket. The pillow was made of buckwheat shells and could be raised high enough to suit my tastes. The mountains of Zao could be clearly seen from the room. The surroundings are very peaceful and nice. The wife is friendly and kind.Close to Murata Interchange. Convenience stores are also far away if you walk, but if you have a car it's close. There is a supermarket a little further down the road. As long as you have a car or motorcycle, there will be no inconvenience. It's cheap so I would like to use it again. Looks like a good base when going to the Zao Echo Line area.

I stayed at a guesthouse for the first time in a while, and I think it was good.If you make a reservation over the phone, you can get half board, so I think it's better to do so.
