It seems that the former "Rausu no Yado Marumi" has been rebranded (?) and is now called Livemax Seafront, but there were no signs posted, so I parked my car in the parking lot and went to the front desk to check. This time I had a plan that included crab for 9,000 yen, but I paid 6,000 yen using points and coupons. The room was at the back of the first floor and looked like a local business hotel, but all the facilities were there and there were no problems. Cleaning is also done properly. The baths had saunas, indoor baths, cold baths, and open-air baths, and the water was nice and warm. We were told that we could see the sunrise from the open-air bath, but we couldn't see it because we couldn't get up that early. After warming up in the open air and cooling down repeatedly in the cold bath, my body warmed up and I was able to sleep well.Dinner included crab (half), sashimi, chicken hot pot, etc., and the taste and quantity was sufficient. Breakfast is a normal breakfast set.I think it was a commemorative price for the rebrand, but I was able to spend my time happily and cheaply.

The hotel old name is Marumi. We arrived 3 hours earlier so we paid additional jpy2k (2hrs w 1 hr free). Convenient store nearby. But no restaurant around. We had a tatami room. We only found one power power. We haven’t tried their onsen. Maybe easier if one has own transport

Stayed here for whale watching the next day. This hotel is affiliated with the sightseeing boat Arlan III, and if you stay here you will get an 800 yen discount! I highly recommend Arlan III 🐳Ocean view room with air conditioning.Perhaps because of the typhoon, we were provided with two 2L bottles of water. All amenities are available in the room and bathroom. Women are happy✨However, it was a pity that only one shower was working properly...lolThe shower stopped the moment I let go of the button, so it was difficult to wash my body off🚿It can't be helped to have an open-air bath, but there are a lot of insects 🐜Dinner is luxurious! It's irresistible for crab lovers🦀Although the number of staff was small, everyone was kind and gave the impression of being at home.Breakfast is a buffet, but there isn't a lot of selection.Whale watching was early in the morning, so it was a good way to finish it quickly 🙆‍♀️

I stayed here while touring in Hokkaido in August. It was sunny both on the day we stayed and on the day we left, but the parking lot in front of the building was small considering the number of rooms, so I parked my bike in the corner, but since there was no roof, it got cold, so I parked my bike in the morning. There was condensation. This place seems to have recently been replaced by LiveMax, and the old name appears on Google Maps as well. The room is a Japanese-style room with a bedrock bath instead of a bath and a toilet. The selling point here was the view from the rooftop. Shiretoko Peninsula, Mt. Rausu, and Kunashir Island are perfect. The bath was a hot spring, and although it wasn't constantly flowing, it was good. The milk for breakfast was delicious!

My name is Marumi, formerly of Rausu. It seems like the management has changed, but the manager hasn't changed. For the food, they have scouted sushi chefs from Tokyo, and while taking advantage of the characteristics of Rausu, they serve delicious dishes for Japanese adults. The quantity is also large. Many guests stay here for the Shiretoko cruise. Was it Arlan? I also recommend Shujinmaru. It used to be an inn, and to begin with, there are very few inns in Rausu. Therefore, this is the accommodation that should be your first choice if you want to stay there. It's far from the center of town, but it's behind Seikoma. Also, the food in Rausu is delicious. It's a famous story among bikers that there's nothing delicious in Shari. I don't think Utoro is much different. This is a highly recommended inn. When the weather is nice, you can see Kunashir Island, which I saw for the first time.

I stayed here for one night on June 27th. 2 meals for 2 people 18,700 yen. It's a great deal. They will guide you carefully at check-in.There is only one elevator. Inside the hotel, you can change into hotel slippers. When you first walk in, the fishy smell is a bit off-putting, but you get used to it after a while. The room is extremely spacious, and I'm happy that it's big enough for a family of four. There is also a bedrock bath. Yukata and towels are also provided. The room faces the sea. You can see the sunset and sunrise.Dinner was extremely sumptuous, consisting of a whole crab, and they cut it in advance so it was easy to eat.We also have free drinks from Kabaana no Take.I'm satisfied with everything, but the only downside is the parking lot. The parking lot is not large, so if you check in late, you may need to park a little further away. The sea is right behind the hotel, so it feels good to take a walk to the sea in the morning.

It can't be helped that there aren't many accommodation facilities, but I can't recommend it highly enough. The hot springs are also small and only accommodate about 7-8 people. For better or worse, this is a country hotel and they don't really care about the guests. Even if there are group customers, they completely ignore individual customers and cannot ride the elevator. I can't take a bath, I can't eat. I think it's a bit of a disqualification as an accommodation facility, as they don't adjust the time and even though I'm paying, they don't prepare the food properly. Also, as soon as I entered the front door, there was a strong smell of fishing bait, and I thought there were a lot of fishing customers, but since it is the face of the hotel, I thought it could be a little cleaner. Not everyone likes fish...💦If you don't like such customers, I think you should disclose it properly. This will cost you a considerable amount of money. 😅I'm sorry, but my impression of this hotel has made me a little dissatisfied with Rausu. First-timers should avoid it.As others have written, there was only one outlet in the room, and perhaps because it was old, even when I plugged the adapter into the outlet, it fell loose and fell off immediately, so I couldn't charge it. This hotel lacks such attention to detail. Please be careful not to be fooled by photos from Rakuten etc.

Although we stayed in early July, we were able to stay at a very reasonable price since we made an early reservation.Dinner was a deluxe version that included crab, and breakfast was a sufficient buffet, although the number of items was small. The hot springs are also decent. However, the Japanese-style room in the main building was not only old, but the noise from the room next door was disturbing. You should be able to see Kunashir Island from the bath, but it was cloudy, so unfortunately you could only see a vague view across the ocean. There is a Seico Mart on the national highway in front of the hotel, which is convenient.
