It was my first time in Zao since my student days. The staff's polite response was good. Oyaji had all-you-can-drink options, and most of the meals were refreshing, so it was perfect. It also came with a thickly sliced beef steak, which made it more satisfying. There are many children, so if you are not accompanied by children, you may experience some noise in the baths and dining areas.

I went here on a hot spring tour.As the name suggests, this hot spring feels like it's in the middle of a forest.I was a little tired from walking up the slope, but it felt good to soak in the warm water in the open air for a long time.

I was staying with my children, but the room was upgraded and the children were very satisfied. There were various activities. I gave up because it was raining. The hot springs at the facility are beautiful and wonderful, but the staff was also wonderful in providing transportation to and from the affiliated hot springs. Dinner is also a half buffet and everything is delicious. Even better with the one drink service. The cost performance was great.I would like to come back and stay again.

The hotel is located next to the slopes of a ski resort, so you have to go up a narrow road from Zao Onsen Town. Because it is located on a slope, the building is divided into three buildings with a complicated number of floors, and some buildings do not have elevators, so you have to go up and down stairs, so if you are elderly or have difficulty walking, it is better to call in advance to confirm. ❗The baths have Jurin-no-Yu and Kasuka-no-Yu that are fed directly from the source, but there are only about 2 showers and there are no faucets for running water, so it can get very hot at times. Masu. For those who don't like the strongly acidic sulfur springs, there is also a large public bath with regular boiling water, which also has about 10 showers. It's located next to the slopes, so it's a great location for skiers. The sweet potato soup from the dinner buffet was delicious.

I stayed here on a Obon trip.I stayed when children were half-price or free, so there were a lot of people with children, and I was able to enjoy myself without worrying too much about my surroundings. The rice is ok. I don't recommend it to people who are just going for the food. Also, except for the nice rooms, the rooms are like old-fashioned guesthouses, so don't expect too much. However, the cleaning is thorough and there are no problems.Hot springs are the best.We were able to enjoy Zao's hot springs almost exclusively by staying in until midnight. This bath alone makes me want to visit again. There are no convenience stores nearby, so we recommend buying things first before visiting.

I stayed at a sister hotel and was told that I could use the hot springs at the same hotel for free. When I asked the staff at the hotel I was staying at that I could enter from 1:00 p.m., I was told that the opening hours just happened to be different that day, so I couldn't enter. When I told him I would be coming back, a large man (he wasn't in uniform, so I couldn't tell if he was a staff member) said, "Please come in and I'll clean up right away." It didn't feel good as it felt like it was empty. A female staff member came right away and apologized for not communicating well between hotels, so I managed to stay calm. In the end, I was able to take a bath. The sulfur hot springs felt good.
