The indoor bath is good, and there are 3 public baths nearby, and I'm glad that I got a free ticket and the quality of the spring water is different! Close to the slopes, convenient for skiing

I used it for an overnight stay during a trip to Tohoku. The staff at the front desk were kind and helpful, and it was a good trip.I was surprised to see kokeshi dolls lined up at the entrance and in the guest room hallways. The Japanese-style room was clean, but there were no screens and insects came in when the window was opened.

I like Zao Onsen and often stay here without meals. This is an old inn, but it feels clean. It was right in front of the public bathing area, and even though it was a dormitory, it was a private room with a toilet. There was a small communal kitchen with a microwave and toaster, so there was no inconvenience even if I was staying without meals. You can also use the bath as much as you like 24 hours a day. The cloudy water is wonderful. Personally, I liked the hot water at the inn better than the public bath. When I looked out the window, I could see people coming and going to the public bath, and it was very atmospheric. The smell of sulfur is coming into the room and I'm in a hot spring! My feeling has increased. This is an inn where you can spend a relaxing time.I visited again on November 22nd. I used it for 2 nights during a 3-day holiday. I arrived about two hours early, but they kindly guided me around without giving me a single unpleasant look, and I was able to get to my room early. Since this is the time of year, I brought all my stuff with me so that I could spend as much time in my room as possible without going out, but there is a refrigerator and two microwaves. I brought some wine with me, but when I was having trouble with the cork, they even had a wine corkscrew and 🍷 wine glasses. It was helpful. Saran wrap, aluminum foil, plates, cutting boards, small knives, spoons, forks, and disposable chopsticks were provided, and I was grateful for their thoughtfulness. This time I stayed for two nights, so I took a bath at the hotel many times and was able to take it easy. It's open 24 hours a day, so if there's a customer in front of you, you have to wait a little before entering, so you can relax by yourself each time. The water was flowing directly from the source, so it was quite hot.
