This hot spring was also a strong sulfur hot spring typical of Zao Onsen. It's a bit disappointing that there is no open-air bath, but apparently you can also use the hot water at another hotel in the same Takamiya group in Zao Onsen.

This is an inn where you can feel safe and enjoy even if you are a solo female traveler.I stayed alone in October on a half-board plan, and it was a wonderful experience. The hospitality of the staff is amazing. I thought that both the staff at the front desk and the staff at the restaurant were incredibly attentive when I first met them.I didn't go this time, but I heard that you can visit the hot springs of surrounding Takamiya-affiliated hotels for free.I would like to try it next time I visit.

Too much riceI thought it would be better to reduce the amount a bit since leftovers would be thrown away.

On the second day of the Hanagasa Festival, I took care of Jijibaba with my three grandchildren. We had a delicious dinner and breakfast in a Japanese-Western style room. ♨️The hot water was flowing directly from the source, which was nice, but it was a little small. Yamagata beef was delicious.

I took my parents there in June for one night. The room had two beds and a futon. The food is delicious. Dinner is plentiful and tastes satisfying.Buffet in the morning. Satisfied with enough variety and taste.I thought most of the staff were young, but I was left with a good impression that they were all polite, kind, and attentive. The bath is large and you can take a bath even at night, so I took my time and took a bath whenever I wanted. The quality of the hot springs is acidic and has a strong sulfur scent. The hot water may have been strong, but it left my skin feeling smooth.
