I visited here for a day trip. The facilities are unexpectedly very clean and modern despite the façade. There are both indoor and outdoor baths connected after the changing room. The water inflow of the open air bath smells like oil and sulfur which reminded me of Kunimi hot spring in Iwate prefecture and it was great. The water inflow of the indoor bath has slight oily smell. The water color is slightly cloudy greenish. Sadly water is circulated and disinfected with chlorine. If not circulated, this place would be one of the best places in Naruko area.

My husband and I stayed here for the first time.Even though it was Golden Week, I was able to stay at a cheap price because I was a sailor.First of all, the response from all the staff is wonderful.Thank you for your very kind response.The hot springs were thick sulfur springs and were the best.The bathroom was well-cleaned and I felt comfortable taking a bath.The private bath was also free, which was great!The food was delicious, especially the rice.It is small and not crowded, so it is recommended for those who want to spend a quiet time.Next time, I would like to stay for consecutive nights.

I used it after reading the reviews. I have used Kawatari and Naruko Onsen before, but this is my first time at Nakayamadaira. The hot springs are very nice. I have dry skin but it feels moisturized. Don't take a long bath because it feels so good ❗Tsure and the others were soaking in the hot water and after eating a delicious meal, we went straight to the futon. It was a very quiet place, and when I was soaking in the open-air bath in the morning, 🐿️ was active and cute.
