I booked this place because I wanted to drink beer while watching the sunset, look at the starry sky at night, and eat breakfast in the garden in the morning.The weather was terrible due to a typhoon the day before, but we were blessed with good weather on this day.I was able to take a bath in the large open-air bath, which is a 5-minute drive away, and had a wonderful holiday where all my wishes came true.Thank you, Tome-san.

Dinner was delicious.I can't concentrate because I'm constantly being talked to every few minutes.There is no sound at night.Breakfast was served late, and the main ingredient was bacon, which is considered bad for the body, and the amount was very small. It does not meet the basic requirement of being a source of energy for the day, and you will need to start eating again. As a result, it becomes a very expensive accommodation. (both time and money)

The best part was that we were given a chair in the garden and could relax from dusk until nightfall. Perhaps because of the altitude, it was cool and the mountains looked beautiful, so we had a great time.The food was served in a timely manner, hot and delicious.I would like to go there next ski season.

The owner runs the business with the concept of a second home. Very easy to approachPlease do so when checking out.I was given a farewell.The location is surrounded by nature and you can see the sunset.We also had a stylish and elegant breakfast. Zao Onsen is about a 5 minute drive away and is in a very convenient location.We will use you again.

I went to Zao Pension Village Open Garden 2024!Each pension has created an original garden, and I was impressed by how beautiful and well-maintained it was.I'm glad that the refreshing weather of early spring and the pension village nestled in the mountains matched well for a relaxing holiday!

Located in a prime location among the pensions, you can have the majestic Asahi Mountains all to yourself. The owner has a friendly personality, and I felt that he was serving customers while keeping an eye on people who wanted to travel quietly and people who wanted to travel with excitement, and I had a very good impression of him.As others have written, the food is extremely beautiful and delicious prepared by the former head chef, so I highly recommend staying with half board. Even my 3rd grade child was eating it.The inside of the hotel is also very clean and there is nothing to complain about. It's undeniable that the original design is old, having been built 40 years ago, but the hospitality doesn't make you feel that way.You must bring a towel!

The owner was soft-spoken and spoke to me in a friendly manner. He said he moved here because he likes Zao.The food is delicious and I am satisfied. Unfortunately the weather was bad, but I think the scenery would be really great on a sunny day.Thank you for giving me good memories.It takes about 5 minutes by car to get to the hot springs, so we recommend using that, but if you have special circumstances, you can also use the bathroom inside the pension.Toothbrush and paper cup included.There is a hair dryer.Therefore, I hope you will use this as a reference for reducing your belongings.

This is a very cozy, comfortable and quiet B&B. The host of the B&B treats guests very kindly. If you don’t want to dine in the Zaou hot spring area, the host of the B&B with superb cooking skills can also provide delicious dinner and breakfast, which is worth a try!

I stayed here for one night when I stopped by Zao Onsen. The hospitality of the kind owner was excellent, and the food served in courses like a restaurant was very delicious. It was a pension with a good view, atmosphere, and service. I had something to do early, so the service was attentive and even moved the breakfast time from 7:30 to 6:00. It was really helpful. I would like to come skiing again in winter!

I had a free Shinkansen ticket, so I decided to book this pension in Hatsu Yamagata, even though I had no connection with it. There is no public transportation available for those who cannot drive, which is inconvenient, but you can get there by taxi from Kaminoyama Onsen Station for 5,000 yen.As per the reviews, the dinner and breakfast served by the owner, who is a former hotel chef, was wonderful.Please carefully carry each plate one by one.I was surprised. The salt also resonated with me.The inn looked like the water area had been renovated and was beautiful. There were many repeat guests and the hotel had an elegant feel. Recommended for those who want to relax and relax.

Dinner is different from last year, so I never get tired of it.There's nothing better than drinking coffee while listening to the birds chirping.The concept is [second home]It is located at the very back of Zao Pension Village. Even if you don't have a car, we will take you to the nearest station. The quality of the food prepared by the owner, who was previously a hotel chef, is of high quality, and on sunny mornings he prepares breakfast in the garden. You can spend your time relaxing while admiring the changing mountain scenery.*Please bring your own pajamas.

Thank you for staying with us for 1 night and 2 days on a family trip. This pension has the concept of being a ``second home,'' and we were welcomed by a very friendly owner.The carefully selected dishes prepared by the owner are stylish and very delicious. I never thought that I could enjoy such wonderful food at a pension☺️The amount of food was adjusted on the spot to suit my husband, and his thoughtful attention to detail warmed my heart.You can enjoy delicious food that looks great in photos and endless conversations with the owner, so it's recommended for girls' nights out!If I have a chance, I will definitely use it again!
