The hot spring town is not very large, but Zao towers right in front of you. The inn looked like an old hot spring inn, but the room we stayed in had been renovated. The hot spring water is brown in color, flowing directly from the source, and is neither added nor heated. However, the water was very hot and the host told me I could add water, so I ended up adding it myself (lol). That is also a fun memory. The food was also delicious.

Although it is an old inn, it was well-maintained and had a clean feel.Dinner was served in a private room with a hearth, and they served freshly prepared duck hotpot, salt-grilled char, and steamed egg custard, all of which were delicious. The freshly cooked rice was perfectly glossy. They took care of everything else and made me feel very comfortable. The only thing I thought was that it was built in the old days, so there were a lot of steps and steps, so it might not be suitable for elderly people with walking problems.

Although it is an old inn, it seems to have been well maintained and I had a comfortable stay.I was satisfied with the customer service attitude of the employees and the breakfast and dinner meals. The only thing I had was a traditional cotton futon and no blankets, so it was a bit cold so I ended up sleeping with the air conditioner on.I think it's because the shoji screens near the windows had been removed to make it more spacious.I was able to stay at a warm inn for the first time in a while. It was an accommodation that I would like to use again. As for the bath, the private semi-open-air bath was fed directly from the source and was very hot, but I was able to enjoy a comfortable bath while making my own hot water.I felt that all of the meals were homemade and delicious, but the duck hotpot for dinner was particularly impressive with its unique soup stock.(As I work at a food manufacturer, I am very strict about ingredients, but the meal was more than enough to satisfy me.)

I visited Golden Week with my children. The hostel was very nice and clean, and the bath was a little hot, but they said they didn't mind if children were not allowed to use the water. That helps a lot.The rice is also very delicious and I am very satisfied. There were a lot of items, so I was sorry that I left some ohitsu rice behind.I would definitely like to use it again when I come to this place.
