It's an inn where you can clearly see how much money is being spent on it. The garden was nice, and the bath was nice. Best of all, the food was delicious. Before I turned 60, I had too much, so I'm sorry that I left a little behind. I was a little disappointed that there were many signs of water damage on the carpet and walls in the hallway.

Since I'm an amateur, I didn't really know if the quality of the water was good or bad, but the open-air bath in the room was relatively large and I was able to relax very much! The rooms are spacious and the hallways are great, with not many other people passing by.The drinks in the refrigerator in the room were said to be free drinks, and there was Asahi Super Dry as well...so nice.Details●Room (I stayed at Shinonome)I was able to relax in a nice room that was spacious and had a beautiful view of the garden. If I go next time, will it be a Japanese-Western room? I thought a room with a bed would be nice, but don't rooms with a bed have an open-air bath?I looked at the website, but I couldn't find a room with a bed and an open-air bath.●Room open-air bath, bath, etc.I like having an open-air bath attached to my room, and I stay at various ryokans every year, but this one had a much larger open-air bath compared to other ryokans, which was great! ︎Also, although I didn't use hot water in the indoor bath this time, there was a nice cypress bath. The provided shampoo etc. are from DHC, so if you have dry hair, we recommend that you bring your own hair care products from home.I was also happy to see that there was a Refa hair dryer, which made me feel better lol. What I was most grateful for was the abundance of towels. They even prepared bath towels and other items that made me wonder if there were ever towels left that far. As someone who takes baths many times, this was very helpful. One thing that bothered me was the yellowish lighting in the bathroom sink. (In places like the powder room, the lighting was yellowish and dim.)Personally, I find it difficult to put on makeup, which is often the case at inns and hotels.Unfortunately, the mirror with a magnifying glass had been moved, but I applied my makeup next to the window.●Large bathIt was very clean and felt great! There was a pile of towels on what looked like a counter to the left as soon as I got out of the bath, and I'm still not sure if they were the ones I should have used, but I feel like they're probably good towels to take (I took the bath towels from the room). I didn't use it because I had brought it with me)●OthersThe shop didn't have a lot of sweets to hand out to people.Instead, there were many craft items such as chopsticks, bags, and ornaments, which were fun to look at.They sold over 10 types of alcohol.●AccessThis time, I took the Shinkansen to Sendai Station and used the shuttle bus from the station. The ride time was about 45 minutes. It seems to be a shared bus with a sister inn, and the name written on the bus is Mitoya, not Saryo Soen, so please be careful when using this bus.The bus stop was at the Sendai Station East Exit (Yodobashi side) where about 7 sightseeing buses could park diagonally.Similarly, on the east side, you have to get off the escalator on the main street at the east exit, not the escalator towards S-PAL Seijo Ishii (you cannot cross the bus pool), so be careful.

This is a pure Japanese-style luxury inn that we visit every year during the fall foliage season.Of the 8,000 tsubo, 6,000 tsubo is a garden. Some rooms have open-air baths and others do not, and the baths in rooms with open-air baths have long hot spring water. The temperature of the indoor bath made of cypress is also controlled by a waiter. The public bath is a hot spring, but it's not long. But it's a nice hot spring.Basically, a chair and a table,If you tell the hostel in advance that you would like to set up chairs and tables, they will set them up accordingly.Meals can be served in your room. The waiter in charge of your room will bring you each item one by one. Needless to say, all the dishes are delicious. It's a wonderful thing.I think it's amazing every time.Every time the Nakai-san comes to the room, without knowing it,Make sure you have a set of foot wipe mats, hand towels, and bath towels in the bath. It's no different than before I used the bath.great job.A word of gratitude for this!! ️This time I came before the rainy season, but it was sunny. However, it is a pity that the bath in the room is no longer a hot spring.

This is my second visit, and I look forward to it once a year. This time I stayed in Shikishima. The customer service is good, and Mr. Nakai, the same as last time, is also very pleasant. It's a wonderful place where you can save money and want to go again next year.

We took the shuttle at Sendai station (ground door) to the resort. The scenery on the way was just tranquil like in a movie about spending a summer in the rural countryside. We were hosted by kind uncles and aunties during our stay. I called the front desk to adjust the onsen temperature in our room. A professional onsen technologist showed up with a needle thermometer to make sure the temperature was optimal. Dinner so good and beautiful. Loved the tatami floor. We stayed at 月影 and 旭。 both have outdoor deck and 緣側 with great garden view.

A completely different style from a five-star hotel. It provides an independent, relaxing and private resort hotel. Authentic kaiseki cuisine + in-room dining + surrounding gardens + free bathing in hot springs. It is worth visiting one of Japan's three major Enjoy the hot spring resort!
