Since there was no website, I found the phone number on Google Maps and made a reservation. I wasn't asked any particular details...Are you okay? I arrived at 5:30pm on the day.There is a large parking lot in front of the inn, and the quiet sea is right in front of you, making it a very nice location.I went inside and called out to them, but no one came out...A few minutes later, the husband came inside, but was ignored, lol...It seemed like he had called out to someone in the back, and his wife came out.After that, his wife did all the customer service.He is a soft-spoken and kind person.The meal was delicious with lots of seafood 😊The toilets are shared, and you walk past the men's urinals to use the Western-style toilets. The urinal is completely visible from the sink. The futon was flat and there were stains on the cover...Overall, I don't think you'll mind if you feel like you're back in the countryside, but if you're looking for things like detailed attention and cleanliness, you might be dissatisfied.I thought it would be nice to have two meals included for less than 10,000 yen, and the price doesn't change even if you are staying alone. (As of October 2024)

It's a location reminiscent of the Beach Boys movie that I loved about 20 years ago, and I've always wanted to stay there someday. The other day, I stayed with my mother, and the wife, daughter, and grandchild of Minshuku Yamane welcomed us in a homely manner, and the food was lavish. The bath was clean, spacious and had a great view of the ocean. The view of the sunrise from the room was indescribably spectacular. I will also drop by.

Tsukihama in Oku Matsushima. A scenic location that has been used as a filming location for movies such as "Again." After all, it's a little-known spot with few people. Minshuku Yamane is run by a family and treats guests in a natural manner. The menu also includes locally produced sea urchins, oysters, and sashimi. After all, the price is low and the cost performance is the best.Wakame and hijiki seaweed for souvenirs are also available at famous restaurants in Ginza. What's more, the wife gave me a five-yen coin key chain that said, "I wish you luck!" which made me really happy!

It was a really comfortable stay.It's a relaxing environment where everything is just right and nothing is overdone.We stayed for two nights with 7 adults, and we had no worries. The food was very delicious as mentioned in other reviews. You'll feel satisfied for about 20,000 yen at Netsu⚫, a representative hot spring resort in the Kanto region. Also, it seems that the rooms were chosen according to the number of people, and the two women's rooms had keys and the floors were polished to a shine.As for the bath, you can take a bath while looking out at the sea from 6am. The hot water was very relaxing.Above all, the couple's pleasant nature, and their wonderful personality, where you can feel the love even in their unflashy customer service...I'm sure everyone will feel that way.I later learned that each of us members had various conversations with the proprietress, and I was impressed.We received a wonderful souvenir when we said goodbye, and it was a wonderful two days.Also! I will definitely go!

This is a guesthouse with a Showa-era feel right in front of Tsukihama Beach, and the food is amazing. Almost everything was locally sourced seafood, and the sashimi was fresh and delicious. The weather was nice and the sunset was beautiful. They were a kind couple and they were kind. I would like to visit again.

I visited this guesthouse with high expectations due to the high reviews, but I was disappointed. I felt sorry for my wife, who had been with me all my life, because there was no delicious fish dish, no warm miso soup, and no hot coffee.

Satisfied with the attentive hospitalityI stayed for one night on a Sunday during the holidays at the end of November.The peak of the coronavirus pandemic has passed, and Matsushima was bustling with people.Meanwhile, the guests were kept in two groups and divided into areas so that meals, baths, and toilets would not overlap, and they also provided luxurious meals and hospitality better than that of a ryokan.Is the landlady also a daughter? He was very friendly and made me feel very comfortable.It's rare to find such a wonderful guesthouse. The price is also too low.We would like to support Minshuku Yamane, who said that the coronavirus pandemic has hurt him more than the earthquake disaster, by word of mouth.

The rice is delicious!The landlady is a nice person. The surrounding area is quiet with no traffic, so it is recommended for people who want to relax. The beach is right in front of the beach, so it might be especially nice in the summer.

It's been a while since I stayed at a private accommodation in Oku Matsushima.It's really good, the cost performance and food are tops in the country.This was my first time staying in Yamane, but I can safely assume that the quality is the same everywhere in Oku Matsushima.I live nearby, and the recovery from the earthquake has calmed down, so I'll come back to eat some delicious seafood and stay overnight like I used to.
