The staff were incredibly helpful. They stored our luggage before checking in & after checking out! There’s two fish tanks in the lobby of the ryokan, I loved greeting the Orandas every time I passed by 🥰.I also had a nice experience using the public bath. At the time I went in it was empty. The futons were super comfortable in my opinion. My ryokan room was also bigger than my hotel room in Tokyo!!! The location of the ryokan is perfectly placed just a 2 minute walk to the train station! If you stay here you will be super comfortable with a great location to do plenty of sightseeing.(About a 5 minute walk to the food hall underneath the Kyoto tower!)Ryokan’s breakfast was also delicious. Served right at the time you request. The portions are small but it’s super filling!

I used it on a school trip and it was great. There was a lot of dinner and breakfast. This is just my personal opinion, but the hamburger and ramen were really delicious.

Very good 5-night stay at the end of March 2024 at the Hifumi ryokan. The room was very good, as was the service overall. We were able to enjoy the hotel's traditional breakfast: a delight with a number of dishes that allows you to discover new flavors every day.We also had dinner at the ryokan: quality dinner and always impeccable service.the hotel is also very well located, a stone's throw from the train station.
