I was looking for a place to stay in a hurry and decided to stay here.It was my first time staying at this type of accommodation, so I was a little nervous, but they were kind enough to answer the phone until late at night, and I was able to stay with peace of mind.I was reassured by the courteous phone calls I received many times and the prompt answer to my calls.I was alone this time, so it was too spacious, but I thought it would be fun to stay with a large group during the day.

This is a house near Toji Temple, south of Kyoto Station. There are also many detached houses around, but most of them are private residences. Since it was Obon time, there were not many people. There is no parking lot, so I used a nearby coin parking lot (1100 yen from 7pm to after 10am). It was less than a 2 minute walk, and the road in front of the inn was narrow and cars were not allowed, so I carried my luggage with me. I had a problem with the parking lot being full, so when I contacted them, a staff member came right away, secured a space, and parked my car. I also had my luggage carried. Although he didn't seem sophisticated, he was kind and polite and left a good impression. The first floor has a kitchen, bath, one bedroom, and Hirome's two bedrooms on the second floor. When I arrived at the inn, there were a lot of mosquitoes inside, and the staff and I had to fight off the mosquitoes for a while, and then I didn't have any trouble until morning, so I guess the person in front of me got in by chance. I think it would be a good idea to use insecticide to repel mosquitoes. There are nine beds (two on the first floor and seven on the second floor), but the kitchen is so small that it can barely accommodate six people. There is a separate bath and shower, but the shower is in the bedroom on the first floor, so it's a bit difficult to use. Although it's a house, I feel like there should be more places to relax.I guess there's nothing we can do to make sure we can stay as many nights as possible. I think it's fine if you mainly use it for lodging and going out. However, I wish there was more space to spread out my luggage. The cleaning was clean enough, and there were slippers provided, but it was a hassle so I didn't use them. However, the microwave was a little dirty, so I cleaned it before using it. It's not a luxury hotel, so that can't be helped to some extent. The bed is a little high and it can be dangerous if you fall, so it might be a bit difficult for small children. The building was probably an old one that was renovated, the stairs were steep, the room layout looked old, and the entrance to the toilet was stepped. The good thing was that there was a public bath within walking distance. He explained to me in detail that there were probably a lot of tourists, and it was empty so I took my time with my kids. Also, Aeon Mall is less than 5 minutes away. It's open until late and it's convenient. Convenience stores are also about the same distance away. It's not particularly cheap, but I think it's worth the price. It seems that there are other houses available for rent, so I would like to use them again if I have the opportunity.
