You can walk from Shonai Station.Showers and toilets are shared, but there are two public bathhouses within walking distance, so I like to soothe the fatigue of my trip at one of them.The guest room has bunk beds with partitions.If you are concerned about noise, earplugs may be helpful.I think the slight noise of this type of accommodation is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for those who love traveling.I'm definitely a repeat visitor, and there's a manga in the living room on the second floor.

It was too far from the station, so accessibility was not good. The passageways and facilities were all very narrow and old.

It's a little far from the station, but within walking distance.It was my first time using a guesthouse, but when I told them about it, they explained it to me in detail. It was very empty as it was a weekday stay. I had a chance to talk with other guests at the LDK on the second floor and was able to make friends. An experience you can't get at a business hotel. If you bring your own ingredients, you can cook as you like. There are supermarkets and convenience stores nearby, so I felt it was easy to use. However, it is basically not a private room, so if you understand that and use it, I think you can have a good experience. It seems like there are a lot of foreign guests on weekends, so I'd like to go there again.

Lovely little hostel. The owner is incredibly nice and welcoming! The place is small, and as such, some compromises are made. You have to venture outside to reach the showers for instance (only when staying on ground floor). The privacy of the bottom ground floor beds aren't great, and I could've used a thicker mattress. Cleanliness is okay.For the price and the vibe, this place is great! But if you need some more creature comforts, privacy or closer to where things happen, maybe upgrade to something a bit pricier.Recommended.

I was interviewed! They told me many stories until just before lights out in the middle of the night, and I thoroughly enjoyed the interesting anecdotes. The room had a gentle scent of wood, and the futon and private room were very comfortable. I was able to sleep soundly on the fluffy bedding and bed recommended by Kiku-chan. Highly recommended. This is a hotel that I want to stay forever 🏨
