As someone who likes the Hilton chain, I personally feel sorry for the Fukuoka Hilton Sea Hawk. It's located in a quiet, calming area, which I like, and has great views. The surrounding infrastructure is also excellent. However, what I find unfortunate is the essential aspect of being a hotel.Among many points, this place boasts quite a spectacular view, so there is definitely a reason to visit this place. However, signs of wear and tear due to age can be seen everywhere. The condition of the room does not hide its age at all, and there was no intention to do so.It is true that even while taking a bath while enjoying the night view while sitting in the bathtub, you feel somewhat uncomfortable when you see mold on the wall or ceiling.Unlike other branches, most of them are paid options except for fitness. In particular, it is puzzling why the large bath and swimming pool are paid options. From the perspective of the general consumer, I think it is definitely a positive option in terms of being able to use the room without unnecessary options, but from the perspective of a 5-star hotel, it feels a bit stingy. You probably aren't visiting to save money. It would have been better to sell products that included use of auxiliary facilities or clearly distinguish membership benefits from the beginning. This is where the meaning of Hilton Honors feels a bit vague. And although this stay schedule overlapped with the training schedule for the fashion brand C****, the disorder of the employees, who were believed to be from various countries, was quite unpleasant. This was greatly felt at breakfast time.Perhaps because of the training schedule, the breakfast was not as good as usual, and I was very uncomfortable with all kinds of rude people while serving the meal.Although it was a brand I was not familiar with due to its meaningless lines, loud voices, and undignified behavior, there was enough time for prejudice to develop. Also, perhaps because there were no seats at some point, people who seemed to belong to the same group started coming into the honors seats one after another, and I was a bit puzzled.Of course, we can fully understand and consider our position, but if the rules and distinctions are changed as they please, I am very curious about what the distinctions are truly for.Although it is disappointing for a variety of reasons, I still have a reason to visit this place again, and I will return with good memories this time too.I hope I can go back with a more enjoyable experience next time.

It was a bad time and there was construction going on and there was a lot of scaffolding. There are no power strips near the bed in the room! I wish I had at least a USB power source available these days. It is difficult to use the same place as the bathroom and toilet. Breakfast was also not good. It was clean and the staff were nice.

The view is nice and the room is spacious and comfortable, but I was surprised that there was a charge for Wi-Fi, hot springs, and pool when staying at the hotel. …

This property is probably the crown jewel in all of Fukuoka, maybe in all of Kyushu. It sits right off the shoreline and overlooks the majestic Hakata Bay.This grand property neighbors the Soft Bank Hawks Pay Pay Dome, which makes it quite convenient during home baseball games for the Fukuoka team. This Hilton reminds me of the properties in Resorts World minus the Casinos. I'm sure it can easily accommodate enormous crowds that may include the guests who attend large functions like weddings and conventions and such.Although the staff was courteous, professional, and very accommodating, the room was a disappointment. It showed obvious signs of wear and tear. There were cracks in the ceiling, and scratches and stains on the floor and furniture. I pulled the adjustable television out to discover the back was dusty. We all know that dust is mostly made of dead skin cells, dust mites, dead insect particles, soil, pollen, tiny plastic particles, bacteria, hair, and clothing fibers, so despite the grandeur of the king suite, I felt a bit grossed out to say the least. What compounded the room"s feax pas was the massive construction just outside the bedroom window. It was nice that the staff informed the guests regarding the numerous scaffolding outside the room and the construction workers just outside your window via a pleasant letter upon arrival. The letter instructed guests to keep their window shades closed till after 5 pm, which is when the construction workers go home for the day, so I still watched a worker outside my window near 6 pm. In spite of the aforementioned, I still enjoyed my stay, but it would have been beyond spectacular minus the little details missed. To conclude this winded rant, the Hilton Sea Hawk is an exquisite property, but it is sadly aging. Please consider these issues on your stay in Fukuoka.
