The location of the place is great if you’re a tourist in need to go to variety of places. Everything is 15-20 minutes bus and Hakata subway station ( really big station with lots of shopping centers) is 15 min walking and bus.Check in is through a tablet which was extremely easy. But…. The place does not have any elevators and the stairs to the second floor is two flights of stairs that are extremely narrow.Upon entering the shoe area is full of hair, place is extremely small, the ladder to loft is very high and squeaky. Air conditioning works but not cool enough, where we had to run the fan with it. The Air condition and the vents are extremely dirty with piles but caked dust visible to naked eye. Bathroom has a warning sign that if you take longer than 10 min of hot shower, water will shut off. Futon is very uncomfortable and loft is too hot to sleep and too steep to climb up. Bathroom barely fit me, I’m only 5’3 150 lbs. Any wider, door will not close and I had difficulty turning around to flush the toilet. It’s a good thing that we didn’t have to stay long, I would find a different place.

I went, but it took a while to check in because my tablet was broken. The bed was shabby, but considering the price, I think it's good. There doesn't seem to be anyone on site, so if you have the same problem as us or have a question, you'll probably have to call.Recommended if you can speak Japanese

I was supposed to check in at 24:00, but when I arrived at the hotel, the iPad outside was not working, and I tried to make a phone call, but it remained unanswered for about 20 minutes. I kept calling and when I finally got through, the employee had a bad attitude.I was able to go inside, but the entrance was dirty with fallen leaves, and the floor was covered with hair and trash. Finally, there were cockroaches in the room. I guess it can't be helped because it's cheap, but I didn't expect it to go this far. I don't use it anymore.

It's convenient because you can check in directly with a tablet on the first floor of the accommodation (even if you don't check in in advance, it's done quickly) The accommodation has a high ceiling, so it's nice to have an open view, and the bedding is clean. There's a ramen restaurant and a 7-Eleven right in front, so I visited every day. Dove every morning. It was good except for the screaming from the balcony!

Within 30 mins of checking in i decided to book another hotel even without staying here. Here's why1. location. it's 20 mins walking distance from hakata station (i had a big heavy luggage). given that i needed to go to this station daily for 7 days, the distance was a big concern for me after i travelled to do the checkin. there was a bus station but the bus wasn't exactly very frequent and it is a little further out from the hangout areas in tenjin and gion.2. it's an unmanned hotel. meaning if you needed help, don't count on getting it in a timely fashion. i had arrived 30 mins before the check-in time and i had to wait at the ground floor until the machine allowed me to checkin. despite contacting the staff through the reservation portal, there was no response. you'd think they'd be keeping a lookout for messages close to check-in time to assist in any event but no. there were flies (guess because it was spring) along the road and the area which i was waiting at and that bothered me a lot. another reason why i decided to get another hotel with a 24/7 front desk instead was that in case of an emergency like an earthquake which is pretty common in Japan, you can count on getting help.3. if you're assigned the rooms on the second floor, there's no lift and you've got to climb the narrow stairs with your luggage. i had a big one and it was a struggle4. first impressions of cleanliness wasn't amazing - the ground floor had leaves all over and i found hair on the floor upon entering the room.5. lastly i care a lot about the comfort of the bed. the stairs were shaky and the bedding was thin. there was even a part of a wooden plank under the bedding which made me feel like i won't have quality sleep.all these put together let me to decide to head to another place. it was ultimately my shortcomings in reviewing and making a good decision 5 months (?) ago when i booked the place but hey, it's always a learning journey when you travel. also as part of the policy there was no refund so it was an expensive lesson for me.i hope this information helps future travellers in making a good decision. for solo travellers who need to have great accessibility to other cities, choose another place. this place might be good for bigger groups of people who soley need to travel within fukuoka (and for a short period of time).

It was nice to be able to check in/out using the tablet inside the room even if I wasn't visiting. The bathroom was a little small, but it was nice to have a separate sink and bathroom. The induction stove and microwave were good, and the sofa bed, bunk bed, and the attic-like sleeping space on the second floor were spacious. However, even if you turn on the air conditioner and heating, the first floor is cold, so you may want to keep that in mind. Both the bunk beds and the second floor sleeping space are accessed via ladders.
