First visit as a couple traveling together. Judging from the results, this inn was the best!Good points1.The food is so delicious! The live flounder was amazing, but I think it was delicious no matter what I had for dinner or breakfast! Personally, I've been to a number of ryokans, but I feel like it's easily in the top 3!2. The rooms are Western-style and clean! The room was well-cleaned and beautiful! The ocean view from the room is also amazing! Also, being able to watch YouTube on a projector in your room is a big plus!3. Mr. Nakai is friendly and very kind! While the meal was being served, he explained the dishes thoroughly, and we were able to talk about various things in a friendly manner, which was great! All the other staff members were also kind!I didn't go to the rooftop bath because it was hot. However, there was one thing... Both dinner and breakfast were in a private room on the third floor, and it was extremely hot. The room temperature is probably around 30 degrees. I felt a little disappointed that my husband and I had to eat while sweating, so the service is 4 stars. But I'm satisfied with the quality at this price, so I give it 5 stars!I would like to repeat it again! Next time, something other than summer... (lol)

Although the building is old, it is well maintained and the bathroom was clean with no hair left. Because it is a small inn, the bath was almost reserved for private use, and the quality of the hot water was excellent! For dinner, I was able to relax in a private room. All of the dishes were delicious, and I couldn't finish the sashimi, leaving my stomach full. It could be less. Breakfast was just right (lol)You can also enjoy the open air while looking out at the sea. It faces west, so the sunsets are beautiful. In the middle of summer, the rooms tend to get hot, and there is no air conditioning in the hallways, making it difficult for the employees. It's so hot that I can't even get into Japan's best footbath right in front of me. I'd like to visit again when it's cooler.

The facility is very old and there is an elevator, but some customers have actually been trapped in elevators that could stop at any time. If you make a reservation through Rakuten Travel, you can only pay in cash. This information is written in small letters at the front desk of the hotel, and it is very unfriendly. The food was mainly fish, but my wife suffered from severe diarrhea all night long. Breakfast was in a small dining room, which was very sad considering the price. There are many accommodations in the area, and Unzen Onsen is just a 20-minute drive away. So I don't think it will ever happen again.

I went on a trip to Unzen Obama-cho with my family from Tokyo. I have a 0-year-old, and they even lent me Jinbei, which was so cute. The food was truly delicious, and the fish dishes were especially outstanding. The open-air private bath on the rooftop was special, with the sea spreading out in front of you, and the temperature of the water was adjusted with the children in mind. There is also a footbath called Hottofutto 105 in front of the inn, which you can really enjoy. (At this time, the staff at the inn accompanied me and talked about the history and origin of Unzen and footbaths.)Although it was far away, it was a great memory, so it was worth going.
