[Second post]I traveled with my work colleague for 2 nights from October 12th to 14th, 2024, and stayed in 2 rooms for 2 consecutive nights. The past two times I have traveled alone, I have stayed in the main building the first time and in the new building attached to the south side last time. The main point of this hotel is that it has extremely high cost performance, but each room is also equipped with an electric massage chair, giving it a luxurious appearance. A colleague said that the Wi-Fi speed is very fast. The plan that we had the first time, which included transportation to a pub for dinner, was no longer available, but perhaps as a replacement, there was a morning curry service that was not available the last time I used it. What's more, it's an authentic curry rice made with Nagasaki Wagyu beef, and it's surprising that you can eat as much as you want with self-service. Of course, you can enjoy the melt-in-your-mouth texture of Nagasaki Wagyu beef. Also, there is a free coffee machine available at all times, which is very helpful since there are no vending machines nearby. Not only has a new building been opened on the north side across the street, but it's surprising to find that they've even opened a yakiniku restaurant that requires reservations and has private rooms. There are now more reasons to come to Jiyutei. There is almost no interaction with the staff at the inn except for check-in, and check-out is as simple as putting your room key in the mailbox. It's a clean inn where you can enjoy a simple stay, so I highly recommend it to all travelers visiting Kamigoto.[First post]This is my second time using it since Golden Week the year before last. Last time I used it on a large bike, and this time I used it for solo touring on a small scooter. I actually wanted to stay for consecutive nights, but I couldn't make a reservation because the second night was fully booked on Jalan reservations. Knowing how wonderful this inn is, I wanted to stay there for several nights to see its true value, but it was a shame that I couldn't do that. This time we were guided to a newly built annex. It's located on the adjacent property, and the entrance has a slope, so I thought there would be no security issues with parking a small scooter. As for the room, I have nothing to complain about, just like last time. Not only was it new, but the furniture around the bath, washroom, and toilet seemed to be the latest. The fact that disposable body towels are provided (instead of sponges!) is a great point. The bath is very spacious, and even in a newly built business hotel, you can't expect it to be this size.Unfortunately, I couldn't go to Mitsuru-san, the affiliated izakaya, because it was closed (I wanted to stay there for several nights), but it was also close to Arikawa's restaurants. I think the location is good as it is not far away. Both the owner of the yakitori izakaya I visited that day, and the young owner of the sake brewery I met the day after, both said they had heard great things about this restaurant.Lastly, I would like to add that the host's level of hospitality seemed to have improved considerably since last time.July 2020 Accommodation(Photos and videos are from the first stay in May 2018)
