I was able to stay cheaply with a last minute discount. This is a modern Japanese twin room that has just been renovated. I felt that the Kappa-no-Yu Chitose hot springs were softer and felt better on the skin than the women-only hot springs.

It's the worst.I used it as a drop-in bath.Taisenkaku in Harazuru Onsen is a long-established store! I was looking forward to it.The hot springs have an old and dark atmosphere. However, I entered the large bathtub thinking that the quality of the spring water was good, but a woman staying at the hotel came in later and noticed that there was coarse filth (digested matter) in the bathtub, and she panicked. He taught me this. The four of us, that person and one other day visitor, hurriedly called the front desk, but no matter how many times we tried, we couldn't get through. Tired of being numb, the person staying at the hotel ran to the front desk and called for the staff, but it took 10 minutes for the staff to come, and even when they did come, they just scooped up the mess with a net and said, ``It's all in pieces.'' I don't know. I'll throw it away. Did you wash your body well?'' We were stunned when he said, ``I think you'll be fine once it washes away.'' ``Are you going to leave the bathroom like this? Are you not going to fill it or clean it?If you don't close it right away, someone else will use it.'' I said, ``Oh, I will. The person in charge of the bathroom is still here.'' "Because I haven't," he replied in a hurry. . .If we had left without saying anything, we would have just scooped up the filth and ended it without incident. . . I couldn't clear up my doubts. It was such a worrying response. We and the people staying at the hotel were looking forward to the hot springs, but we didn't really have time to soak in the hot springs, so we just washed our bodies and hair over and over again, and we didn't know what we were there for.Afterwards, when I told my husband what had happened, I said to the man at the front desk, ``It seems like there was some filth in the women's bathroom,'' and he replied, ``Yes, it's closed now.'' When I said, ``No, my wife and I just took a bath in that bath,'' he replied, ``It can't be helped.''I'm not asking for my bathing fee back or making a complaint. But maybe you have something to say?Is this the response of a long-established inn? It's a surprise. Also, I can't trust the hygiene aspect.I will never go there again. I'm in disbelief.By the way, the men's jungle bath was also full of spider webs.It was a memorable day in a way.

I looked at the website and went there with high expectations, but I was disappointed in all the things, so I would like to give my honest impressions.First of all, there was no streetscape typical of a hot spring town, and the area around the inn didn't have a very good atmosphere and felt run down.Since it was a sudden reservation, I left the room up to you, but it seemed like it hadn't been renovated, so not only did it feel old, but the water area was dirty, and all the doors were poorly placed. Also, I had some expectations for the hot springs after seeing the website, but those expectations were also disappointing...It's okay if it's just old, but there are trash and unnecessary items hidden in obvious places (even though they're hidden, they're not noticeable at all), the plants and trees aren't being taken care of, and the jungle bath is just a dilapidated mess. jungle.Regarding services, you have to pay for table tennis, massage chairs, and additional towels. Moreover, there seemed to be a lot of equipment hidden behind the partitions in the table tennis facility, but it was placed so sloppily that it was completely visible. When I tried to take the child's yukata from the front desk, a slightly larger spider was wearing it, and my older child really hated it.There were almost no tourist facilities in the area, and the city felt really lonely. It was my children's first time staying at an inn, and I felt so sorry for them, so I thought it was a waste to pay the full amount without eating a meal after only an hour of staying there. I wanted to make good memories, so I decided to stop staying here and change accommodations.(Afterwards, the hotel I stayed at was about half the price of this inn, but it was very clean and had good service.)I made a reservation because the reviews were good, but I was surprised by the difference in the photos from the website, so I decided to write about it here.I'm sure there are a lot of good reviews from people who come from overseas because they can feel the old hot spring inn. However, to Japanese people, I felt that the inn was old and had the inconveniences of their grandmother's house in a faraway countryside.I don't usually write reviews, but I felt compelled to write one this time, hoping that no one else will have the same experience in the future.for your information,,,,

Taisenkaku is a famous building where the Emperor and Empress stayed. One of the Harazuru hot springs in Asakura City, Fukuoka Prefecture.I stopped by for a day trip to the hot springs. Adults 1,000 yen, children 500 yen.The magnificent lobby is spacious and reminiscent of its former glory, and although it is an older building, it has been kept very clean. The pool is open in the summer, so I think kids can enjoy it too.The large baths for men and women alternate daily, and the large bath is the jungle bath. This place also feels quite old, but the trees have grown thicker, making it a spacious and soothing space. The hot springs are slippery and feel very good. A small sauna is also available. It was a pity that there was no open-air bath. After taking a bath, you can relax in the beautiful rest room. The furniture is also stylish.I was able to enjoy a pleasant hot spring while feeling that it must have been a very busy inn in the past.

Due to some circumstances, I used the bathroom in my room.It smelled bad and there was no hot water. No matter how many times I called the front desk, they didn't answer. The next day, I mentioned it at the front desk and was told that it would take a while for the hot water to come out.I had no choice but to take a shower with water, so I left it on for 30 minutes.Even then, there was no hot water, so how much water did I have to pour in to get hot water?Breakfast was also served from 7:30 to 9:00, but instead of last entry at 9:00, it was closed at 9:00. It's too early. It's difficult when you have small children. BGM will also stay at exactly 9:00. I feel bad overall. I've stayed at a lot of inns, but this is the first time I've stayed in something this bad. I will never go there again.

The building is old, but the food was very delicious. The front desk and staff were very kind. The pool, jungle bath, and children's food were luxurious, and my elementary school son was happy.

I stayed for two nights in a newly renovated deluxe quad room and was very satisfied. The view of the stream in front was nice, the room condition was clean, and there were 3 bathrooms, so it was a perfect room for a three-generation family trip.Kaiseki food and plating were cute and tasted great. I was impressed that they prepared a completely different course for the evening of the second day so that it did not overlap with the previous night.Breakfast is also prepared in a variety of Japanese and Western styles… Sauces, dressings, plates, cutlery, everything was barely prepared... I felt sincerity.I was worried that it would be boring since I stayed at a ryokan with my kids for two nights, but we enjoyed going around the pool and hot springs without a single moment of boredom. The swimming pool tubes and water play equipment are almost new, so there is no need to prepare them separately. Some of the staff spoke English well, so we could communicate well even if we couldn't speak Japanese. I found this ryokan by chance, but I was so satisfied that I want to come again on my next vacation. The only downside is… There really isn't a single place to play around.

Adult day trip hot springs (drop-in hot springs) cost 1,000 yen and include a towel. Finally, I was able to enter the jungle hot spring. It was spacious and I had almost the entire bathtub for myself, so it felt good. There is a large cold bath in the sauna.

Thank you for your help at the memorial service meal on 7/14! One thing I would like to say is that the pot of rice was heated right after it started. Various dishes came out one after another, and the red soup stock came out, so I had it with the kamameshi that had already been cooked... Then two more dishes came out, and we finished with dessert. All the flavors were delicious!
