A long-established hotel built nearly 60 years ago.Although the building is old, it is very clean, and the hot springs are of a pleasant quality. It is in a wonderful location, a 10-minute drive from Shimabara City Mountain, where you can see the Ariake Sea and Mt. Unzen. In particular, the somewhat elderly lady wearing glasses at the front desk treated me kindly and politely, and I enjoyed a comfortable stay. I wasn't able to have dinner this time because I checked in late, so if I have a chance, I'll be sure to take care of you again. Thanks to Kaiboso, we had a wonderful trip to Shimabara.*There is no hair dryer in the room, but you can borrow one at the front desk.

Thank you for your help in the first Bon festival.Thank you for lending me a towel and a fan when I went out.The room was spacious and I had a good time. I came back sweating so the hot springs felt good. I would like to stay there again if I have the opportunity.

The language of the person who seems to be the landlady is so bad. I can't serve customers. The facility is old and it's an old-fashioned inn, so it can't be helped, but to be honest, it's tough. Although it claims to be the only hot spring in Shimabara, there is no open-air bath. The rice is also average. I can only feel regretful.

I loved staying here! I arrived on my birthday and, whether it was because of that or not, they offered free breakfast and fruits at check-in and it made my day :) The facilities had a great sense of Japan's tradition while being well-maintained and clean, and all the staff were kind. If I visit Shimabara again and need to find a room, I will definitely choose here.
