So let's get started! lolThe cars are renovated diesel cars that actually ran on the old Yabakei Railway. As a result, the interior of the car feels brand new and luxurious. The furniture such as tables and sofas were of high quality, and there was also a catalog, probably for advertising purposes.However, the area around the driver's seat and the walls still retain traces of those days, allowing you to remember the days when the car was still in service. What's more, it comes with a bonus feature that lets you feel like a driver in the driver's seat or a passenger in the seat (I was careful not to get carried away and break it lol). In addition, the floor was made of glass in some areas, so you could look down on the trolleys, machinery, and railroad tracks underneath.The toilets, washrooms, baths, and other water facilities located near the carriages are lavishly equipped with state-of-the-art equipment (these are also available for private use).The toilet has a washlet that automatically opens and closes the seat.The water in the bath is fully automatic (although I accidentally caused the water to overflow...lol)The wash basin is made of Ontayaki, which Oita Prefecture is proud of.They also have famous toiletries such as face wash and cosmetics.It can be said that it rivals first-class hotels.The meal could be described as a normal kaiseki meal. Even when I am asleep on the sofa or lying in bed, I have the illusion that the train is actually running.It is literally a running hotel.The breakfast was just like any other guesthouse meal, but I was impressed by the fact that the coffee was served using local Yabakei ware (Yabakei ware is also sold at the inn).So I was able to spend a luxurious time chartering a train, but I think the hotel was originally intended for families with small children. I'm so grateful that at least one person was willing to accept it (and it was the day before a holiday).I thought this was a railway inn that people who love trains and families would definitely want to stay at, and I even hoped that proposals to renovate old rolling stock like this into luxury hotels would spread across the country.

Bettei Wagtail. It was an interesting accommodation facility with a train and train tracks all inside the house. Part of the floor is glass so you can see the wheels. I'm not a train fan, but it was interesting. However, the price is high. The food was average for the price. If you stay in the main building, the food will be more than worth the price, and some reviews say they are surprised by the cost performance. The bed was a hard single size.

I stayed for one night with two meals included, and I think the food was delicious considering the price. The public bath is reserved exclusively for women. Being on the 3rd floor without an elevator is a bit tough.When there are many customers, meals are served in a large hall, so you don't feel like you're on a train (lol)

In the cafeteria, you can see the Yabakei Railway's cars and timetables. I heard that you can stay in the expensive rooms on the train, so I thought it would appeal to people who like it and children. The convenience store is a little far, but there is a supermarket nearby.

This is a business hotel type accommodation with a restaurant attached. The food, especially dinner, was delicious and the price was good. Efforts to make the most of the existing facilities can be seen everywhere. However, since it is along the main road, rooms facing the road are noisy all night long. Also, the large public bath is in a separate building and you need to go outside, so on rainy or cold days, I wonder if it's okay to take a shower in the room. The temperature of both the public bath and the shower in the room was unstable. There are many things related to railways inside and outside the dining room, but as guests eat in the large hall, unfortunately they have little chance to experience the owner's love for railways. Since the inside is connected, I think you can eat at the restaurant without ordering food.

I think this is a hotel with a steam locomotive, so it's irresistible for train lovers. The restaurant also has a room modeled after a train, and you can enjoy local sake. The room was large and comfortable.
