Enjoy Iki's nature and delicious foodI had been interested in a place called Iki for some time after being introduced to it by a friend. It is blessed with seafood, and there are many trees, so there is plenty of water. Therefore, it is a wonderful island that is suitable for farming. This time, I visited Kairi Murakami Resort for two nights.Plan to head from Haneda to Fukuoka and take a taxi from the airport to Hakata Port. However, there is an unexpected incident here.I thought I would have plenty of time since there was an hour from the time I arrived at the airport until the ship departed, but I couldn't find a taxi at the airport and ended up wandering around for 30 minutes. . .When I finally got on board and told the driver, he said it would take about 25 minutes to get to the port.I was about to give up, but I managed to arrive 5 minutes early as planned.I hurriedly gave the number I had reserved at the ticket office and was able to board the jet foil.Dangerous, dangerous. If you miss this boat (departing at 10:30), the next one won't be available until after 3:00 pm, so you'll have a huge loss. After arriving at the hotel, we rented a car and toured the island, then returned to the hotel to take a bath and have dinner. The first day was Teppanyaki.Enjoy abalone, Iki beef, and Iki vegetables with red wine and sparkling wine.Of course the dinner is luxurious, but I think the real value of the food at an inn is the breakfast, and it was amazing. The presentation, number of items, and quantity are just right for your stomach. All vegetables and seafood are grown in Iki. It's amazing that you can create such a wonderful breakfast with locally produced food.Unfortunately, sea urchin was not available at this time of year (the end of March) as the season had not been lifted, but instead we enjoyed plenty of abalone and Iki beef. The facility has a gym, and rooms are equipped with hot springs fed directly from the source, and private hot springs can also be reserved. This is an inn that does its best to accommodate its guests and is highly recommended if you are visiting Iki.This time, I requested a type of premium Japanese-Western room. There are two double size beds in the bedroom. It is a two-room type with a living room (Japanese-style room) next to it, and each room has its own toilet and shower.Furthermore, the guest room has an open-air bath, so it was a luxurious design with a total of 3 showers and baths. However, if you are traveling alone or with two people, I think a regular corner Japanese-style room (one room type) will be sufficient. The food was certainly delicious. However, I felt that something was missing, and I felt that one more step or surprise was needed.

The sea is visible from the guest room. The open-air bath in the guest room provides smooth, slightly alkaline hot spring water whenever you turn it. Other inns have open-air baths in guest rooms, but I usually end up going to the large public bath, but here I was able to spend a relaxing time exclusively in the bath in my room. There was a sofa bed next to the bath, but I couldn't help but doze off. Enjoy your meal at the counter while watching the sunset. I was disappointed that the sashimi didn't have the flavor I expected, but I was satisfied with the Iki meat.

I used it before the management changed. The food, room, and bathroom were all wonderful and it was a great stay.By the way, for 38,000 yen from the online reservation site, we enjoyed Iki beef and Kachiwari sea urchin while watching the sunset.I was surprised to learn that the management has changed and the prices have more than doubled. I wonder if I can no longer use this amount...

I went during Golden Week.A resort with only 12 rooms.Location in front of the seaSpectacular views of the sea as soon as you enter the buildingCheck in for a welcome drink overlooking the oceanEnjoy an open-air bath on the terrace overlooking the sea in your roomPrivate bath with infinity hot spring overlooking the seaI'm not much of a hot spring freak, so when I go to a hot spring, I just take a bath and don't go in many times, but the hot springs in Iki were really nice. I've been there many times.Because it contains a lot of iron, the water is clear when it comes out, but when it accumulates in the bathtub, it oxidizes and turns brown. This hot water feels so good. It was warm and warm for quite a long time after we got up.I was really happy while looking at the beautiful sea.It seems that local people feel helpless when using hot springs other than those in Iki.You can also enjoy a beautiful view of the ocean from the library where you can enjoy drinks and sweets for free.Dinner was also great, and the premium plan dinner at Setouchi Retreat Aonagi was good, so I upgraded to the premium plan this time as well.A parade of high-class ingredientsIki is famous for its sea urchin, so there was a course that included all Iki sea urchins, but the red sea urchin in summer is definitely more recommended than the purple sea urchin in early spring, and it seems that they are completely different, so I opted for the premium plan instead of doing the sea urchin all course.Iki beef sukiyaki, wonderfully deliciousAbalone and squid shabu-shabu and charcoal grill are the bestThe sashimi kueh, spiny lobster, and tuna are all excellent. For the final meal, I had a choice of sea urchin rice, sushi, or rice porridge, so I went with sea urchin rice. The melon for dessert after the meal was very delicious, so I asked about it and was told that Iki also makes melon and is famous for its deliciousness. It's still early in the season, so the one we ate was from Miyazaki, where it's aged in the kitchen until it's ready to eat.In other words, if you come in the summer, you can eat the famous red sea urchin, as well as Iki melons. He also said that he would like to try the melon as well.Dinner while watching the sunset is the best.

Depending on the day, day trip hot springs may not be open. It is safer to confirm by phone in advance. If you take the information on the website at face value, you will be wasting your time.

I think it was about 5 years ago already?I visited during the red sea urchin season. When I arrived and was shown to my room, I was told that a room a notch higher up was available, so I was asked to go for one.At that time, I thought I was lucky, but when I saved up some hot water in the bathroom in my guest room and looked at it, I noticed that the water was running low lol.Hot water was flowing out from the joints of the wooden bathtub. If this is a higher-grade room, I was wondering what the room I reserved would be like lolWell, the scenery was nice, but I remembered that this was the best hot spring inn in Iki.Also, when I called to make a reservation in response to her request to eat red sea urchin, the man's response over the phone was terrible. I think he should change his attitude.I didn't make a reservation because I didn't feel well.

It's a wonderful accommodation. I can't see the sunrise, but the sunset is amazing. The sunset seen from the room was like a large framed painting.I went with my child, and they provided us with a private room at the breakfast venue. Free coffee, tea, and sweets are available in the library corner. It was a pity that there was only Fujin Gaho.It is also convenient to rent a car at the hotel and return it to the port. There is also a gym where you can rent shoes and T-shirts for free. The hot springs were also great! It feels like an inn for adults. However, it is a wonderful accommodation that you can enjoy even with children.
