After leaving home for 3.5 hours, I first saw the Akita cedar natural forest, then shared a local kiritanpo hotpot with Wagewappa set meal with my grandma. The set meal of Hinai chicken soup and rice with mushrooms was delicious, Odate City. I'm on the prefectural border with Yatate Pass and Aomori, so I suddenly crossed the Onikobe Pass in Osaki City, Miyagi Prefecture, and reached Yatate Pass in Akita Prefecture, which is 250km away.Akita Prefecture is also so large. As I strolled through Yatate Pass, I remembered the journeys of my predecessors.

I used it for a day trip bath. Although the facility seems to be showing its age, it is kept in good condition. I can't get enough of the invisible, iron-smelling hot spring there.

Last summer, when I traveled to Aomori Tsugaru, I stayed there for the first time after crossing the border between Aomori and Akita prefectures, and I was hooked.I stayed there again this summer when I traveled to Aomori Tsugaru. The red hot water containing iron and the nature visible from the open-air bath were soothing.A short walk from the inn is a sign marking the border between Akita and Aomori prefectures, and is recommended for people who like borders. The Wappameshi I ate at the cafeteria was delicious and came with Inaniwa udon. However, when I stayed last year, I was disappointed that the take-out lunch box that was on the cafeteria menu was no longer available. What was even more disappointing was that the TV antenna was damaged and I was unable to watch terrestrial TV. It's been happening since last year, so I hope they can do something about it soon.Still, it's a good hot spring inn, and I'd like to stay there again when I'm in the northern Akita prefecture/Aomori Tsugaru area. ¥7,000 per night including breakfast is cheap.

I used it for a day trip bath and dinner. It is located on the 4th floor when viewed from the road, and the view from the open-air bath is good.. The bath is brown in color and smells like iron, and the water temperature is neither hot nor hot, allowing you to take a long bath while resting. The open-air bath at sunset had a great view.Soap, shampoo, etc. are also provided, and the washing area is spacious. It was late in the evening on a weekday in August, but it was empty, and the open-air bath was a private hot spring.Dinner was a set meal of fried oysters, the batter was crispy, the inside was juicy, and the miso soup was 5-star delicious.

I often use Yatate Heights because the hot springs are cheap and the hot water and baths are good, but today I stopped by to eat miso ramen. It was crowded everywhere during the Obon holidays, and there didn't seem to be many customers, so I stopped by, but since it was a restaurant at an accommodation, it was okay, but I thought it would be better to make it myself. It might be good. It wasn't the type of miso ramen that comes with stir-fried vegetables. The ramen is average, but the baths here are great! If you buy multiple tickets, it will be much cheaper.
