Bicycle tourist here. The owner wanted me to bring my bicycle inside the House. Even if you are a bigger group, the town is extremely safe and they could find a place for you to keep it out of the elements.Lovely landlady. She was so kind even though I didn't speak any japanese. You feel like she is welcoming you into her home. Thank you so very much. The facility is old but it has everthing you need and is kept clean. Some of the photos make it appear cluttered and messy, but in person, it feels normal, so dont trust how the photos look cluttered. Note the rooms are traditional and the bathroom and shower are shared, so no private shower or bathroom You shower in the gender appropriate onsen. The booking site is not too clear. There are a male and female onsen, not just one. You can reserve one, but usually they are public and you dont need to reserve a time. The onsen is kept very hot and relaxing.Because the building is old, you do hear a lot of foot traffic, but everyone will be in their rooms by 9pm I am sure, as there is nothing to do in town. There is aircon in the room, and it works really well despite the old building and hot summer weather. The meals are great! Very traditional and delicious. They are delivered to your room at the agreed time, and once you finish, you simply put the small table and dishes outside your room. The room prices compare to some larger hotels, but the mystery, hospitality, very calm onsen, quiet town, and hostess make it a very worth while experience. This is a very accessible Ryokan if you are nervous to try it.

The accommodation I had been planning to stay at for some time.It seems that Zashikiwarashi-sama has given his permission. The proprietress always has a smiling face to welcome you.I feel like the Laughing Gate is a sign of good fortune. The hot spring water is heated directly by the water, making it very pleasant.Meals, both dinner and breakfast, will be delivered to your room. There is no particular explanation of the dishes. but,The local cuisine is delicious. So, did you get to meet Zashikiwarashi-sama?I wrote it down in my guest notebook.

I stayed here due to my night shift job. I had always thought of visiting Kindaichi Onsen ♨️ someday, but this time I was able to unexpectedly make my first visit. I was lucky. The inn has a Showa retro atmosphere, which I like. 👍One night and two days is a waste. If you are coming privately, this is the place to stay for 3 days and 2 nights. Is the hot water alkaline? The hot water has a smooth and comfortable feel. The landlady was also kind and the conversation was pleasant, and I was able to experience a very nice hot spring. I will definitely visit again.Thank you for seeing me off at night and when I went out 🙇

This was my first stay at Kindaichi Onsen as it was said to be an inn that allows pets. After reading reviews and finding out that there is a possibility that you will have a chance to meet your child in a room with a pet, I was so excited to stay there! Whether you were able to meet your child or not depends on the individual. I didn't see him, but the child was there ^_^. I felt close. The hostess is also a nice and cheerful person, and she is in the children's corner in the lobby, so I was able to hear all kinds of stories. The only thing that bothered me about my stay was the shower in the women's bath. I wonder if the water pressure was weak and it didn't get hot at all. It was difficult to shampoo. The water pressure in the men's bath was weak, but there was hot water.Hmm 🤔Why⁉️I forgot to ask the landlady. The temperature of the bath was just right 👌 I took a bath many times and my body felt warm!

I wanted to visit Kindaichi Onsen "Senyokan". It's an old inn (as the landlady says), but I like the relaxing atmosphere. The room was the Akatsuki no Ma, and I couldn't stop being excited to see Zashiki Warashi ☺️The meal was served in the room, and mainly consisted of fish, but it was voluminous, delicious, and very satisfying! The hot spring is a circular bathtub with tiles. Hmm, it's so retro☺️ Hot water came out of the hose and the water was nice. Now, Zashikiwarashi-san...I feel like I heard footsteps in the middle of the night☺️I'm sure they came to play☺️

It was an inn with a nostalgic and calm atmosphere. The landlady greeted me very kindly. In Japan, it is said that happiness is brought by feeling the spirit of children. I heard the sound of a toy in the middle of the night and clapping hands with the laughter of the child. Whether you feel their presence or not, I hope everyone can stay here and relax.
