Stayed here in July 2022.This is a very clean and comfortable accommodation with simple rooms. Also, as other people have written in their reviews, the hostess' hospitality is wonderful. The bath is a guest house, so it's a little small, but it's a hot spring. It's very warm. The food is also extremely delicious. Towada Lake's specialty Himemasu and Barayaki are also delicious! There is also quite a lot of ohitsu rice.Accommodation costs are low and it is a cost-effective accommodation.

I stayed with my family. I was worried because I don't like smoking, but the room was very clean and had no odor (the hallway smelled like cigarettes). It was very clean and very comfortable.Even though it's a guest house, I was surprised at the hot spring bath. As per the reviews, the food was delicious and had a lot of variety, so I felt bad that I could stay at this price. If I come to Lake Towada, I would definitely stay here again.

I like the food and the bath. For the meal, we had salt-grilled and sashimi of Himemasu, grilled Towada rosette, and seasonal dishes as per the name of the restaurant. Now that it's early spring, the fukinoto miso dressing was delicious.Local sake in Towada? I don't know the sake brewery, but the cold sake tasted even better.

Himemasu Sanso is a 3-minute drive from Yasumya's Lake Towada pleasure boat and close to Lake Towada. The building is new and clean. Since it is a Towada Lakeside Onsen, you can take a bath from 3pm to 11pm and until 9am in the morning. Apparently, the hot springs are brought in rather than piped in. For dinner, there was more than enough food, including grilled red trout, wild vegetable dishes, and grilled Towada barasaki. Of course, the amount of breakfast is also substantial. There was coffee service in the morning. The rooms are heated by gas stoves, so you don't have to worry about it being cold. We were told to lay out our own futons and leave them as they were on the way home. I'm thankful that it has WI-FI. My wife is easy to talk to.Inside the museum, explanations and photos of the plants that can be seen in the area are posted. Apparently, her husband likes photography. On the way home, I received a postcard of Akanuma and Lake Towada. It was a guesthouse with good cost performance.

Dinner was scheduled to start at 18:00, but I had plans so I asked for an earlier one and they happily agreed. Lots of side dishes, freshly cooked white rice, and freshly grilled trout! I don't have the habit of eating from a plate, so it was very fresh and I had a special time. I had to go out to do some errands at night, and when I came back, I was in an unfamiliar place and the road was dark, but the brightness of the entrance and lobby, which I don't find in other guesthouses, was a landmark, and when I returned, I was greeted with a warm feeling. became. The room is about 8 tatami mats. The building itself is a bit old, but I wonder if it has been renovated? The cleaning is thorough and beautiful. The temperature was so low that the condensation on the window froze, so I placed my drink on the window sill and it cooled down within a few minutes. There is no refrigerator in the room. There was Wi-Fi, I was able to warm up in the hot springs, and above all, the service was courteous. I want to go again.

Great little Minshuku with very friendly ladies running the joint. Excellent food, very clean and extremely reasonable pricing. The small onsen/bathtub with onsen water was great too. Great stay right next to the lake and will stay again if in the area, especially for the food.
