The food is very delicious. All the employees are very pleasant. The equipment shows signs of aging.

The location is really good. However, it is an old hotel, and the public bathhouse is too small to enjoy the hot springs. There is no outdoor hot spring. The home-cooked menu is just so-so compared to other places.Instead, the two people serving us at the restaurant were really friendly. This place seems to show that Japan once prospered greatly. Now it feels like the number of people visiting is decreasing. If you want a quiet place without people, it will be fine.

The hotel is situated near the beautiful lakeside. Yet the building is quite old and there is no lift. The taste of the meal was bland despite its elaborate presentation.

In late June we booked a half board package through a major reservation platform but the experience is truly horrible. Admittedly the location of the hotel is fantastic as it is next to the beautiful Towdako lake. However, their meals are below average at best given its 3 stars rating. The worst part is when we checked out, the front desk lady insisted that we should pay cash. After the payment in cash, however, we saw this notice in Japanese saying credit cards are welcome. I immediately texted the reservation platform customer service to complain, but so far I haven’t heard anything from them. And I can’t write a review about this hotel on the platform. The lesson learned is that you should never only read the reviews on hotel booking websites because they have a conflict of interest.

I checked into this hotel when I arrived at Lake Towada. The room was large, clean and tidy. The environment is beautiful. When you are in the restaurant, you can see the gentle breeze and the sparkling waves on the lake. What is unforgettable is that the chef grandpa, who has a craftsman spirit, carefully introduced each dish to us, and some of them have unique shapes.

I think it's a nice, quaint hotel that feels like a Showa era hotel.Welcome fruits were prepared in the refrigerator in the room. The employees were also very kind and polite.Dinner is quite filling, so if you're staying overnight, be sure to prepare your stomach.

It's a Showa-era hotel, but it's in a great location. After breakfast, we took a walk along the lakeside road to the bronze statue and shrine. There is ample parking, and the bus stop, tourist information center, and sightseeing boat terminal are also nearby.Reserve a Western-style room facing the lake from the website. I was able to relax in the spacious room. With a family-run atmosphere,I ordered a lunch box for the next day and it was delicious (different from the hard ones at convenience stores😂)After walking around Tsutanuma, I went to Tsuta Onsen, so I didn't go to ♨️ of 🏨.
