This was my first time staying here, and the food was one of the best inns I've ever stayed at.

Ok hear me out...A friend and I were hiking for three days and needed a last-minute accommodation before going back to Tokyo. We randomly walked up at the front door to inquire in-person about availability, but the owners apologetically said the place was full ... at first. Five minutes later they saw us walking by again and flagged us down to say that they could make it work. I give 5 stars for that kind of service. My room was an older-than-time tatami room but it feels so good to lay on the futon after being in the woods for days. It had all the necessary amenities and comfort of a retro Japanese inn. I give 5 stars for being extremely grateful for these old-school inns in these rural communities that are there for you when you need them. The rooms are clean, the shared bath is refreshing, the owners are super kind, and it's 3 minutes from the station.Plus, I personally love the Showa Era vibe.If you're like me, you'll love this place too.** You will need to speak some Japanese in my opinion to help make the reservation process simple and smooth. **

Thank you for your help in constructing bridge girders on the Sanriku Expressway in support of reconstruction efforts following the Great East Japan Earthquake. The rice is very delicious♪

It's an old-fashioned hotel.Since the station is close, there is quite a bit of train noise, but since there aren't many trains, it doesn't bother me that much. The bath is large enough to fit two people, but it's open 24 hours a day, so I think it's better to go during a free time. The rooms are on the 2nd or 3rd floor, but there is no elevator, so it may be difficult for people with bad legs. It's a cheap place to stay in Kuji, and there are many bars around the station, so it's recommended for people who come here on business.

The bathroom is small and difficult for two people, and the door to the shoe closet is broken, so it's difficult.
