I came here for a solo camp on Saturday and Sunday.Oshima's vacation village was full...As it turned out, there were 4 other campers.It was quiet, but the cicadas were so loud😅There is also a table and a kitchen area.The toilet also flushed.There is a shower, but the pressure is a little weak.It's so helpful!The guy in the administration building is a native speaker.I can't have a good conversation😆We also sell firewood, so that's helpful!The street lights are bright and I feel safe.I can't see the stars full of stars.Although it's a campsite, I think it's good ♪

I used it on a Friday in July. There were only 2 users including me, probably because the site doesn't have a direct view of the ocean and there aren't many flat areas. But it's an ideal campsite for me when I'm on the move. It is highly rated that the shower fee is included in the price. Also, I would like to thank the administrator for being attentive to me even though I sometimes couldn't understand his dialect.

Visited as a solo camper.It was Friday, and there were about 3 other groups.The man at the reception desk is a local who comes only at the appointed time, so it might be difficult to understand him if you are not from Tohoku because of his strong accent. There was one foreigner, but I don't think he would have understood.450 yen per night, 500 yen for firewood. The environment was quiet and the place was cleaner than I expected. We had fun making a bonfire, but there was a forest right in front of us, so it was a bit scary when it rustled lol.Kesennuma Hormone had a good reputation, so I bought some before going there. It was very delicious, and it's hard to clean the stains, but if you don't mind that, I recommend it.The next day, I woke up to the sound of birds chirping as it got brighter around 4am.I was planning to go to the cape to see the sunrise, but as I was walking along the path in the forest, I bumped into a deer with fine antlers. It's hard to tell from the photo. Our eyes met, so I gave up and went back.I decided to take a different route to see Tsunami Rock, but there was a giant hornet in the hollow of a tree, and it threatened me when I approached, so I gave up and ran away.Campgrounds are nice places, but being so close to nature can be dangerous, so please be careful when enjoying your time there.

I used it for winter camping last year.When you think of a campsite, you might think of not having many facilities, but this campground has all the facilities, so I was able to camp with peace of mind.The sunrise after waking up in the morning was special.

The facility was undergoing renovations and the toilets were kept clean. At the tip of the Karakuwa Peninsula, on the horizon of the open sea, I realized that the earth is round, and the tsunami caused by the endless seawater must have been terrifying.

This is a campsite where adults can stay for 450 yen per night. The best part is that you can use the shower for free. The location is good, and the kitchen and toilets are clean, which I appreciate. The site is divided into an upper section and a lower section. I was using it on a weekday in early July, but on that day I was the only one who had reserved the camp, making it a luxurious camp that would be unimaginable in the Tokyo area.

November 7, 2020 Misaki CampsiteI stayed for one night on a solo trip around Tohoku.Reservations by phone and application on-site are required. Kitchen building, potable tap water, Japanese-style flushing, night lighting until the next morning, hot showers available. 450 yen per person per night. A bundle of firewood costs 500 yen.Vehicles are not allowed on the site, and you will have to climb a slight slope to reach the setup point. There are a fair amount of Japanese black pines, so it is possible to use tarps and hammocks for the night.At the time of reception, I was told two things in particular: open fires were not allowed, and motorcycles were not allowed on the premises. He seems to be quite concerned. Although I thought, ``Solo users tend to have relatively good manners,'' I realized that there were still quite a few people, and I felt sorry for the users, not the administrators.The area near the toilet on the hill is relatively flat with a good view, and the morning sun hits early, so it is considered to be a prime location. However, you cannot directly see the sea because of the windbreak. Perhaps for this reason, there are two walking routes from the side of the toilets, which take you to Kamikura Tsunami Stone and the Misaki Lighthouse, and one from beside the kitchen building below, which takes you to the coast.It's a little difficult to go shopping and take a bath, but I think it's a very good campground with lots of activities, and the fee was cheap for a campground used on a long trip.Therefore, ☆5!

There are many plain slopes, and tents are pitched in the spaces between the trees.The site is also not that vast. It will feel small for a campsite.However, the restrooms and water sources are clean, and it's a good campsite as long as you can find a flat area. (The restrooms seemed to be locked on days when there were no reservations. If there was no one there and the restrooms were closed when you went for a preview, you could rent a restroom at the visitor center.)For camps with 8 or more people to 6 people, the number of groups will be limited due to the lack of flat areas, so if the day you want to go is a Saturday or Sunday, it would be best to inquire in advance to confirm. .If you call the visitor center in Karakuwa, they will tell you various things.If anything, I think it would be better for small groups, solo, or can-do.Showers are free for campground users, but there were no hair dryers, so please bring your own.As of October 2020, when I went there, the campsite usage fee was 450 yen per adult staying overnight (check-out at 10 a.m. the next day), and 350 yen per adult for day camping (check-out at 5 p.m.).Open fires are prohibited, so if you want to start a bonfire, it would be a good idea to have a spatter sheet or ash tray.The used ashes are disposed of in a large can at the waterhole.Please take your time and don't make noise until late at night, and remember to take your trash home with you.There was a camping boom, and some young people were making noise until midnight, but I thought it was a good way to avoid animals and went to bed. If you are concerned about noise, please bring earplugs.

Used on 10/17.If you make a reservation in advance by calling the Kesennuma Tourism Association, a manager will come at the time of your arrival.Since I was the only one there, I pitched a tent in the kitchen.Site fee: 450 yen. Used on November 3, 2022Since the next day was a weekday, there were only 3 groups on that day.Located at the tip of the Karakuwa Peninsula, access is somewhat difficult.Usage fee is 450 yenFirewood is 500 yen and is a mix of coniferous and hardwood.Vehicles are not allowed to enter, but it is possible to load and unload luggage up to the side of the administration building.On days when there are few people using motorcycles, the manager may be kind enough to let you ride into the kitchen, but it is very narrow so it is best not to bring large motorcycles.The land is generally sloping with almost no flat land.There are stumps all over the place, so I don't have to worry about finding a wood chopping table.Both the kitchen and toilets are well maintained.Take your garbage homeSince I was the only one using the bike that day, the manager kindly allowed me to take it back.The manager is not always on site, so if he hasn't arrived yet, you can pitch your tent without permission.I'll come later, so I'll accept it then.The administrator was very helpful, but unfortunately he had a strong accent and I couldn't fully understand the content without an interpreter.

Tenpaku 450 yen. Shower is included until 8pm. Admire the stars at night, and admire the sunrise that illuminates Sanriku in the morning.There are many slopes, so you'll want to pitch your tent higher up.

Looks good.The top part is flat, but it can be stretched to about 10 pieces. The kitchen and toilets are clean.

The top and bottom are flat and there is quite a slope in the middle, so there is limited space to pitch a tent, but I think you can manage unless you have very large equipment. By the way, there are toilets and kitchens in two locations, upper and lower.The location is very close to the rocky sea, which is typical of Sanriku, but you can hear the sound of the waves in a perfect setting, creating a perfect mood.The tent site is basically a pine forest + grass and the ground is dry, so depending on the season, black carpenter ants can be seen walking around. There are quite a few clumsy creatures that get too excited and come up to the tent, so I don't recommend this for people who hate ants.By the way, if you make a reservation, the manager will come at the same time, so it's best not to be late. When making a reservation, do you contact the manager directly in case of irregular cases? I was also given the number.I also had a good impression that the person who answered the phone when making the reservation and the manager were cheerful and very nice. Needless to say, the low price is a big plus.

Even after 24:30, a group of people next door who appeared to be from the same workplace were arguing. And since there's alcohol in it, it's loud. I couldn't hold back anymore, so I yelled, "Noisy!" so loud it echoed across the mountain. After a while, he said, "I'm sorry." After that, I fell asleep hearing the distant sound of waves like a lullaby😪Speaking of the campsite, although the temperature of the free showers cannot be adjusted, the hot water was around 40 degrees, which was great. By the way, it's the type that comes out for a certain amount of time by pushing. The water pressure is weak (lol)Since I came to Kesennuma, the horumon and seasonal sea squirts are big and meaty, so I couldn't go home without eating them, so I bought them at the supermarket.It was super cool. Kesennuma is the best! !

Great campsite near some beautiful trails. One night was only 450 yen, including hot showers on-site. Have to check in by 16:30 latest (at time of writing) - the staff were super friendly and helpful! Not so many stores around Here, so come with supplies. Wonderful campsite! The staff were also very kind. The surrounding trails were also very nice 💯👍
