This is an inn near the sea in Shirahama, the southernmost tip of the Boso Peninsula. It is located on a narrow road from the main road. There was a guide board, but it was a narrow road that made me wonder if it was really a good idea to go this far, and if it had been at night, I might have wandered around in the pitch darkness and not been able to reach it (lol)The accommodation is probably the cheapest in the area. The price is reasonable, but the owner provided detailed explanations after check-in, and politely saw us off after check-out, so I think it was wonderful.Even if the price is high, there are some inns where you can't even explain the accommodation very well (lol)I would say that the inn itself has an atmosphere from the 1960s.It was quite retro and the bath had the feel of an old-fashioned home bath, and the toilet was a Japanese-style toilet that had been renovated into a Western-style one.The faucet in the washroom looked like it was rusty, so it didn't feel very clean, and it was difficult to use unless you were used to it. is.The refrigerator and microwave are located in the hallway. The only amenities are a thin towel, so you need to bring everything.Especially since the only soap available is bar soap, it is recommended to bring hand soap that also doubles as facial cleansing foam.I stayed in February, but there is a charge for heating. However, there was a kotatsu, and it wasn't a very cold place, so I was able to spend time without having to turn on the heater. The futon was worn out, but I used a kotatsu as half of the futon.Wi-Fi is also available, which is convenient. By the way, the luxury hotel next door doesn't seem to have Wi-Fi (lol)There are various warnings, but the most strict one is to take your trash home with you.Since I was staying overnight without meals, I was bound to end up with empty lunch containers, and I ended up throwing them in the trash can at the roadside station on the way home.In this way, it ends up being discarded somewhere else, so I thought it would be a good idea to sort out the trash and leave it behind.

The owner has a bit of a habit. There were warning notes here and there, but I didn't feel uncomfortable. On the other hand, I feel sorry for the number of guests staying there who felt the need to write this much.It was my first time using a coin-operated air conditioner, so in a sense it was new.I didn't know about it until I stayed there, so I didn't have a 100 yen coin, but they happily exchanged money for me.The room is really run down. The walls are also crumbling. The tatami mats are also worn out. It's for people who don't care or don't care about anything because everything is so worn out, and who can enjoy that.In other words, the bath is reserved for private use.The style of entering by calling out to the host when he or she is free. The shared toilet is a Japanese-style room customized into a Western style. There is no hot water in the shared washroom. There are no toiletries in the bathroom other than soap and shampoo, so you must bring your own.

There are many regular customers, and I don't recommend it to people who think it's a luxury inn where you can relax near the sea.I like this place.

I stayed there thinking it would be okay just to sleep, but the hygiene was so bad that I don't think I'll use it again in the future.Odoya, a local supermarket on the Boso Peninsula, is right next door and is open until 9pm, and the sea is also nearby. Shirahama is at the tip of the peninsula, so the location was perfect as a base for sightseeing in Boso. However, although it's okay for the inn to be old and run down, the cleaning was not very thorough at all, and as someone who has an allergy to house dust, I couldn't stop sneezing and having a runny nose within five minutes of entering the room. Ta. Dead insects and dust had accumulated around the windows, and the futon had been used so much that it was hard to tell when it had been washed or when it had been purchased, which was very worrying in these days when bed bugs are so prevalent. . Nowadays, futons are sold cheaply at mass retailers, so wouldn't it be a good idea to update the entire futon set? By the way, the water area was relatively clean. However, it is a simplified version of a Japanese-style toilet and does not have a washlet.Another thing that bothered me was the amount of posters. There are many request signs that make you feel as if you have wandered into the world of Kenji Miyazawa's restaurant where many orders are received, and you can experience both the poor manners of the customers and the discomfort. What made me angry was the caution when parking the bike, or rather the intrusiveness. I went there on a large bike, and they were worried about my bike falling over and hitting the car next to me, and to be honest, I just thought they were making fun of me. I understand that the owner is trying to be careful, but it's not a moped or a bicycle, it's a large bike, and you won't be able to get on or off the bike unless there's enough space for you to hit the bike even if it falls over.Regarding amenities, it's fine because it's a guesthouse that there aren't any toothbrushes, etc., but I would like them to have sanitary products. There were no boxes of tissues in the room or in the hallway, and the tissues I brought with me when I had an allergic reaction were not enough, so it was very painful. The soap installed in the taps is also bar soap these days, and it dries completely and doesn't lather at all. How should I wash my hands? Of course, there are no alcohol sprays left outside the entrance. To be honest, there are a lot of high-performance glamping sites and tent sites that have recently opened in this area, so I thought it would be more comfortable to stay in a tent than to stay here if I could bring my tent equipment. .I wrote a review saying ``...'', but the only reply I received was ``It seems like it didn't suit the customer'', so I wish they would make a little more effort...

In terms of price, it's probably the cheapest in this area. There is nothing particularly unreasonable about the husband's response. However, not only are there no amenities, but there are also no tissues in the room, so it is better to prepare them in advance when using the room. Also, air conditioning costs 100 yen per hour. It seems that it can only operate continuously for up to 4 hours, so it is expected that staying overnight on a tropical night will be difficult. Despite this, strangely, BS is also shown on TV lolIf it's cheap, people who can ignore some things can use it without any problems.

There is a reason why something is cheap. Don't expect anything more than being able to sleep on a futon and be protected from the rain and wind.

Accommodation rates are cheap, but the house dust is terrible, and your nose won't stop running. It looks like it's haunted. Air conditioner costs 100 yen per hour.
