I used it for his birthday. The location is surrounded by many old houses, so it doesn't feel special. It was raining heavily that day, and as I was dropping off my luggage at the front entrance, a woman in her early 20s came to greet me with an umbrella.Afterwards, I went directly to my room, checked in, and received instructions on how to use the room. When you get to the roomI was hungry after receiving grapes and water buns, so I decided to have dinner at 5:00 pm.When we arrived at the dinner venue, the atmosphere and the appearance of the food was amazing. However, hair, watermelon seeds, and food particles were falling everywhere, and the dishes were not placed quietly, but instead made a noise. The staff's footsteps were very noisy and I couldn't enjoy my meal in peace.Choosing a place to stay is part of traveling, and for us, it cost just under 70,000 yen for two people, so it was very disappointing to have to feel this way.I won't repeat it.

I brought my parents there and stayed in a classroom with two bedrooms and a sauna. We took a relaxing bath, refreshed ourselves in the sauna, and went to the main building of an old folk house for dinner. The food was carefully prepared, and my parents kept saying how delicious it was.I was very satisfied and requested to bring them back again.I had breakfast. The food was delicious, and as expected from all hotels in the Hana Shibuki Group, the food was delicious and refreshing.I will visit again.

Japanese cuisine auberge in Tateyama.Although you cannot see the sea or mountains of Tateyama, this is an inn where you can feel the changing seasons with all five senses.

I used it on June 17th.When we arrived at the parking lot on the day, a staff member was waiting for us and guided us to the entrance of the inn. Once we entered the room, they introduced us to the facilities and explained how to use the room. The interior is simple but feels clean. There were three plants in the garden.I immediately entered the built-in open-air bath and enjoyed the brown water until it was time to eat. When it was time to eat, I went to a private dining room in a separate building and had a blissful time. We were able to enjoy carefully prepared dishes using abalone, spiny lobster, local meat, and vegetables, along with special local Junmai sake. When we finished our meal and went back to our rooms, they gave us the cooked rice Onigiri and Inari that we couldn't finish.I returned to my room, relaxed, took a bath, and went to bed. There was a pleasantly scented mosquito repellent incense burning next to the open-air bath, so I didn't have to worry about insects. The next morning, at 8:30 a.m., we had a carefully prepared breakfast at the restaurant where we had eaten the night before, and enjoyed the open-air bath until it was time to check out.At check-out, I was given a souvenir of mineral water, and the staff took me to the parking lot before leaving the inn.

Although it is new, the rooms, cleaning, and customer service were excellent, and it was very comfortable. The food was also pleasing to the eye. It seems like they have good ingredients, but the seasoning could be a little more...

Just opened on April 17th. I had a lot of dinner and breakfast, probably because I took many saunas and open-air baths, but they were so delicious that I ate them all. When I returned home, my weight remained the same.It was really relaxing.

There are two 50-60 inch TVs in the bedroom and living room. There are 2 semi-double beds +αThere was a staff member standing in the parking lot, probably because it was raining, and they held umbrellas for all of us and helped us carry our heavy luggage.A 100-year-old Japanese restaurant called Tokinoto has been renovated into a lodging facility, with a total of 6 rooms, all with covered open-air baths. The meals are pure Japanese-style Japanese food.I don't think they use chemical seasonings, but I haven't checked with the head chef. This is a renovated facility of a company group that promotes local production for local consumption (Hana Shibuki Group). It seems that all the sashimi ingredients are fried on their own boat. How much of the amino acids, chemical seasonings, and additives sold in supermarkets contain? We didn't understand. It didn't have the sweetness of refined sugar and was eaten with only grated wasabi, soy sauce, and salt. The tamagoyaki was not sweet and was delicious with just the dashi soup. The clam soup is worth eating. For breakfast, the standard dish is shark fin.I was greeted by the head chef as I was leaving, and I think he was young, in his early 30s.The manager seemed to greet each room during dinner. They even came to our place and we were able to receive their business cards. The day before, we stayed at THE Shinra, a sister hotel to Hanashibuki. We are fans of Hana Shibuki, but we don't feel that the chef made any compromises at all. Therefore, I can recommend it to my friends and colleagues. This time, this ryokan, Tokinoto, is a hideaway. All the staff were warm and had nice smiles. Some of the staff from THE Shinra and Hana Shibuki also ended up working here. I was happy to see so many familiar faces.Meals are served in a private room. Our bartender was a very skilled bartender, but we can't drink alcohol, so he made us a non-alcoholic drink.Well, there is THE sister hotel Shinra in the Hanashibuki group, and all rooms there also have open-air baths and a panoramic view of Tateyama Bay.Also, our sister inn, Hana Shibuki, is located on the beach and you can hear the music of the waves. There is also a villa next to Hanashibuki, with a sauna and open-air bath.A new Shinra villa has been created. It is a 3-story building with an indoor bath on each floor. Please look into it.In addition, a new Hanashibuki sister inn with an open-air bath will open in the valley from winter 2024 to spring of the following year.
