One of the most incredible retreat exceriences. I hosted a retreat here with me and 10 others. The staff is incredible, they did a closing ceremony that brought everyone to tears. The food was excellent. The beds were comfy. The price was so accommodating. The beach is glorious

I have just spent a week in Shambala in the Rajinder Upper bungalow. This little note to mention that I truly enjoyed my stay in the beautiful gardens in another part of Shambala. I loved the hardwoodfloors, the traditional furniture, the beautiful colors of the silk curtains, the balcony facing the sea that I could see between the vegetation and the sound of the waves, always present wherever you are in Shambala. I could see the light of the sunrise coming through the windows early morning. And receive the new day light. A gift! I do not forget the very good buffets they serve, so enjoyable! Again thank you for offering this. The beauty of your place resonnates deeply in me.

A most beautiful location right on the ocean side, sunrise and sunset in view at this time of year, many quiet and tranquil pockets, beautiful lush garden and delicious nourishing food. The atmosphere and energy is perfect for a retreat /ashram experience with a local untouched Bali feel from the lovely staff.

In my 15 years of coming to Bali, Shambala is the only place I continue to return again and again. There is a magic aura surrounding it, and it truly feels like a heavenly paradise with an enlightening quality to it. Every single detail has been tailored to produce awe, inspiration, a sense of exotic royalty, mystic charm, and nourishing upliftment. Time will stop and you will be able to easily touch your true essence here. The staff is just extraordinary and very much contribute to lifting your spirit during your stay there.

I recently stayed with a group and loved the place as location amazing and so much potential, but downside food and services overpriced and they demanded an extra service fee at the end of stay on top of this.Rooms are quaint but need aircon. I also had an item of jewellery go missing, it was never found.

Stunning grounds and beautiful rooms and views. The staff were also wonderful and the food was delicious. Unfortunately though there is a problem with rats. They say to put food into plastic containers that they provide, but unfortunately they don’t also say to put many other things like anything made of silicone, and hand creams, face creams, medicines, and many other things that rats like to have a nibble at. I returned to my room one evening to find that a rat had eaten its way through all my luggage, including my toiletry bag, and it had been on my bed, I also found rat faeces in my suitcase. It was disgusting. The staff were very helpful and changed my sheets, disinfected my room, and actually caught the rat in a trap. However I would like to have been warned ahead of time that there might be this problem so that I could zip all my bags up and prevent rats from going through all my things.

Beautiful spot with unbeliavable combination of nature, garden, ocean and spacious buildings. I did not like adding taxes to everything and staff seemed underpaid to what is charged per night
