I made a reservation because I wanted to enjoy a leisurely hot spring and Yadotoiu, who is related to Tora-san. . .Anyway, the equipment is too bad. If it's old, there's no problem; if it's not touched up, it's bad.The indoor bath in the main building has shiitake mushrooms at the edge of the bath? It was blooming. In the open-air bath outside, the board in the bathing area was rotten and rotten, and there were huge spider webs everywhere. .Is it due to a lack of maintenance due to a lack of manpower?Tora-san is also crying in the afterlife. If this is the case, I cannot recommend it to others.

The biggest attraction of Dairokan is definitely the wide variety of private baths available. All eight baths are 100% natural hot springs fed directly from the source. We have a variety of different types of baths, including waterfall baths, open-air baths, and barrel baths, which can be reserved for private use as many times as you like during your stay.Quality of the source: The sodium-chloride-bicarbonate spring water has a smooth texture that makes your skin slippery, and has an excellent heat retention effect.Types of private baths: There are many baths with different styles, so you can enjoy visiting them without getting bored. In particular, the roaring sound of the waterfall bath and the magnificent view of nature from the open-air bath are unforgettable.Cleanliness: All the baths were kept clean and I felt comfortable using them.About accommodationRoom: I stayed in a Japanese-style room, and it was spacious, clean, and comfortable. You can see the lush green scenery from the windows and feel like you are in nature.Food: Dinner was a multi-course meal made with fresh local ingredients. In particular, the horse sashimi and Higo beef were exquisite, and I was able to fully enjoy Kumamoto's gourmet food.Hospitality: The warm hospitality of the staff made my heart feel soothed.General reviewDairokan is a hot spring inn recommended for those who want to spend a relaxing time away from the hustle and bustle. You can enjoy a wide variety of hot springs to your heart's content in a quiet environment surrounded by nature.

A long-established inn that serves a filling dinner (meals in your room) at a reasonable price. Horse sashimi, gentian pork, grilled wagyu beef, and local vegetables. The bath is also wonderful. There are two indoor baths in the main building. There are also about 5 family baths with different styles along the stream. Recommended for those who want to enjoy the hot springs quietly and thoroughly in a small group. We apologize for the inconvenience, but since we are climbing the Kuju Mountain Range, we requested that you change your breakfast to a boxed lunch. It is located in front of Kurokawa Onsen. Filming location for the movie ``Otoko wa Tsuraiyo'' (1971, 21st film).A travel-friendly inn located quietly in a rural village. Not recommended for those who prefer clean, modern hotels.

Used for drop-in baths on weekdays. After stopping by the front desk of the dimly lit main building and paying for the use, we headed to the family bath facility, which was a short walk from the main building. It was nice to be able to use the large bath for private use, but it didn't seem to be cleaned frequently and there was a fair amount of hair in the bathtub.Without that, the quality of the spring water would have been that of Kurokawa Onsen.

It was a very good inn.Opinions may differ as to whether the inn is quaint or old, but we got the impression that it was a quaint and very clean inn. It was cleaned properly and not a single hair was missing. As for the food, all of the dishes were elaborate and the portions were almost impossible to eat. From horse sashimi to shabu-shabu to beef tendon, a wide variety of a la carte dishes are now available. I may have been tired from the long journey, but my stomach was full and I was sleepy all night, so I slept soundly until morning. As for the hot springs, I was able to spend some relaxing time with my family in the family bath outside. Of course, there were some bugs because of the open-air bath, but it was a nice touch of nature and the kids were happy while playing. This is a really nice bath for families with children. You can enjoy it to your heart's content without worrying about being seen.I felt that all the employees were friendly and worked hard to provide hospitality.Next time, I would like to bring my grandparents as well.

I stopped by to take a bath. I was looking for a place close to where I was staying, and when I inquired, I was told that there was a hot spring available, so I use it every time I go. Sodium-chloride-bicarbonate spring flowing directly from the source. The water is not too hot and doesn't make you tired. It can be reserved for private use, so you can relax whether you go alone or with friends. It may be perfect for people who want to enjoy hot water. You can choose as many hot springs as you want, see waterfalls, and enjoy the scenery, so being able to take a bath for 500 yen feels like a great deal. Reception hours are weekdays: 9:00 to 15:00 and days before holidays: 9:00 to 18:00, but please be sure to contact us to confirm before going.

I had high expectations because of the good reviews, but I was disappointed. The renovated rooms and food were still good, but perhaps due to a lack of staff, various areas were not well-maintained and I felt very uncomfortable. To be honest, I felt that the management lacked motivation, which is a shame.

I stayed here on a mountain day. I came up with this idea about 10 days ago. I had never stayed in the Oguni area before, and the reason I made the reservation was because the price was relatively cheap and there were rooms available, but I had a really comfortable stay. The large indoor public bath is also available for private use by families. Of course, some places are outdated, but the quality of the hot water outweighs that.We also enjoyed the private baths in the separate building, including a rock bath, a cypress bath, and an open-air bath. We also adjusted the slightly hot water with cold water from the source. The meals are mainly made with vegetables and are very satisfying, using plenty of locally sourced ingredients. It was a shame that they didn't have draft beer, but the amount of food I ate was quite large. I made the right decision to keep my lunch to a minimum. Also, dinner is served in your room! We were able to eat at our own pace without having to worry about people's attention or time. I think it was a hassle for the staff. The restroom had just been renovated and was very comfortable to use, but the most pleasant thing was the amber-polished floor between the boards. I was so happy that it was a Japanese inn. However, my room was on the third floor and my slippers came off easily, making it difficult to go up and down. Maybe it would have been easier to move around if I had taken off my slippers from the beginning.Well, in the evening, young people from the area started practicing Bon Odori very close by, and I was invited to watch the music, which I had never heard before. It reminded me of the Obon scene when I used to go to my mother's parents' house. It's a difficult experience. thank you very much. This is an inn that I would definitely like to visit again if I have the opportunity.
