There are three family baths, so it feels like you can use the family bath at any time. I was able to rest very comfortably as the staff took care of all the annoying things like breakfast, dinner, preparing and putting away my bedding.It was amazing to see a weasel in the garden, but it was even more amazing because the staff didn't know about it...There is a 7-Eleven nearby, but I regretted wearing geta shoes... I think it would be better to go there before changing if you need anything... There isn't much around, but my personal impression is that once you enter the ryokan, you're too busy resting and rarely have to go out, so it wasn't a problem.It doesn't seem to be far from the Hell Pilgrimage, so if you plan well, Uchi doesn't seem too bad, but it's not a problem to take a taxi from Kitahama or Beppu Station, so I recommend considering that too.

Food and the room is good. We have no issue using the onsen given it is a private onsen share by other residents. Only issue we have is they tried to double charge us for the room price at the end.

Stayed for 2 nights. The facilities are clean, the hot springs are good, and the staff are friendly and can communicate in English.Due to schedule, I only had breakfast, but the taste and composition were good.It would be nice to experience both breakfast and dinner.

I stayed with my family of 3.I was disappointed because the content was far from the price.The food was good, but it wasn't quite enough...Is there tap water in the bath? I didn't think it was as good as I thought...After paying the bill on the way home, they didn't give me a farewell and didn't ask me to go home.It cannot be compared to Kumamoto's ``Kiyashiki''...Everything about ``Kiyashiki'' is so perfect, such as the hot spring water in the bath, the amount of food you can't eat, and the staff seeing you off on the way home.Is it the same price as ``Kiyashiki''?I will never use it again

It was Absolutely amazing. It was so good that I can not describe it. Food, onsen, service everything deserves respect. It is very close to jigoku’s and some steam restaurants. I see some comments like there is a toilet smell. It’s an onsen town it is sulfur not a toilet don’t be a silly person 😁

Very comfortable , clean and cosy. Location is great, just 5 mins drive from town and places of attraction. The service is excellent, attentive without being intrusive. Special commends to Asano San Hikaru San and Yuki San who attended to us. Asano San observed my wife was unwell and took trouble to show us the was to nearest hospital. He constantly checked on her condition.The onsen was good and therapeutic.This is the place we will come back

This is an inn I would like to visit again.I think the private bath had a nice atmosphere and the staff were very responsive.

The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. The amount was just right, not too much and not too little.There are room baths and private baths, and it was great that you could easily use the private baths without having to make a reservation.Overall, I was very satisfied and very happy, but the smell of the toilet (sewage smell?) was unpleasant. It seems that other people have pointed this out in the comments, so I think it's been going on for a while, but I wonder if the inn hasn't taken any action. It's not to the point where it smells a bit. .This is a ryokan that I would like to visit again if it improves.Other than that, it was really good, so please improve it.
