We had a significant delay getting in due to washed out roads and arrived 3 hours after last check in. Despite this we had the utmost courteous service. The rooms are massive with a big living area and nice sized bedroom. The private onsens are absolutely lovely, hot, and beautiful. I wish we had more time to stay.

I stayed with my family. First of all, when I made an inquiry over the phone before my stay, I was very impressed with the way they answered the phone. The room was nice and the view from the room bath was also great. The food was delicious and I was full. This is an inn that I would like to use again.

The food was good. The room was old, but there were three baths, and Mt. Yufu could be seen from both the room and the bath.

Very good customer service, excellent food (dinner and breakfast), the hot spring in the room was quite nice, and the outdoor open-air bath that can be used as a private bath was also very good.

The family used two rooms to celebrate the first anniversary of his father's death.I am very satisfied with everything: the room, bathroom, food, staff, location. It was a trip with three generations, and it is a comfortable accommodation that will satisfy all age groups.Especially the comfort of the sofa in a Western-style room. I wanted to stay for a few nights lol.I would definitely like to come again. The staff were all very pleasant and polite, and I was able to spend a relaxing time there.Thank you very much😊.

To sum it up in one line, “a cost-saving private ryokan.”The advantage is that you can experience the scenery and a foot bath for between 400,000 and 500,000 won.The location is in the mountains, so it is necessary to contact the hotel before leaving the accommodation to request pick-up service. It runs until 17:30. It takes about 5-10 minutes by car, or more than 30 minutes by foot due to the steep slope. The downside is that the facilities are old, and because they are located in the mountains, bug control and cleanliness are not maintained well. There are a lot of spider webs inside the property. Shampoo, body wash, etc. are cheap, bulk products, and the shower and window sashes are also old.Kaiseki was unpleasant. Seafood and meat were served as the main course, and the quality of the meat was not bad, but the frozen meat was grilled over high heat, and the inside was frozen. Seafood is not good. The cooking methods and distribution of courses are not harmonious, so it is best not to expect anything, and it is better to buy a packed lunch from a supermarket. The workload seems to be high compared to the number of employees working. The person driving the pickup vehicle will grill the meat and also carry the luggage. There are people who speak English, but since they are not Japanese and working in a foreign country, it is difficult to say that they are fluent in English or Japanese, and since they are not professionals, their responses are not quick.Kaiseki and other meals look good in photos, but squid and seafood are not so good, as they are not comfortable for the stomach. As an accommodation, it gives a good score, but compared to the price range, Agoda's 4-5 stars and rating of 4-5 points for meals and professional service are considered viral tourist attractions.I felt like I was not treated well because it was not professional enough for the price, and it made me think again about the Yufuin ryokan. For my next trip, I think I will look for comfortable accommodation other than a ryokan at a more reasonable price.I would like to give the accommodation 4 points and the service 1-2 points.

This is my opinion for the person below (Mr. k.k). I wanted to reply directly to the person in question, but I was told that only the business owner's account can reply, so I will express my opinion in the form of a post.I saw the news in the newspaper the other day that doctors in the Kanto area had filed a complaint against Google as a measure against bad reviews, and I thought that your review was relevant, so I would like to write a note.First of all, I love the hot springs in Yufuin and have visited them many times, and I have also been indebted to Mr. Goei. Therefore, my impression of your post is that it should be resolved between the parties involved.I don't know the details of what happened between us and the inn. There may have been something you were not satisfied with. However, reviews are viewed by a large number of people, who are influenced by what they read and are one of the deciding factors when making a reservation. Additionally, there is a risk that users who currently have a good impression of us will suddenly become distrustful or have a bad impression of us.There are various people working at the hot spring inn I go to in Yufuin. They will always welcome you with a smile, and will welcome you with delicious kaiseki cuisine and soft, high-quality hot springs. It makes me sad to imagine these guys in Yufuin losing their jobs and getting lost on the streets due to word-of-mouth reviews. What are you trying to convey with your reviews? What do most people think when they read your comments? To me, it's a story that doesn't matter to many users, and they shouldn't know about it.And more than that, I'm worried about the negative impact it will have on the people who work at the inn and the users who have a good impression of Ako.I am one of those users.

My case: Are the restaurant lights on?It was great to stay at Yufuin Plum Garden during the Chinese New Year this year! I have also traveled here many times. There are four brothers and an 83-year-old mother traveling together. The hotel has a very high rating. One room and the other are the best in this villa. We are looking forward to having a private, convenient and comfortable room for dinner.A Nepalese or Sri Lankan waitress had already checked in, and she came in without a break to put her bathrobe on. Everyone looked at her.By 17:45, the meal was ready. As a result, the main light in the restaurant was not on, so the backup light was illuminated from the side as in the photo (the light source was in the wrong direction and glared), which was very inappropriate. I asked him to move to another room to dine. From now on... he is going out of his way... ! !The waiters in Southeast Asia seem to be untrained and leave without putting the dishes on the table. ! Buffet?I informed the female supervisor that I was in a hurry to serve the food (without sending extra help), some of the sashimi were all cooked in chopsticks, and I was in a hurry to finish the dishes. It was too bad for the dining atmosphere and the meal was hastily finished.Maybe the boss noticed that the supervisor asked us if we wanted sake? If you are sincere, just serve sake without asking. Afterwards, a large plate of fruit was served. It was too late and the two of them went back to the room, and no one touched them at all.It was probably the proprietress who left at 10 o'clock the next day. It was a heartwarming thing to say goodbye sincerely and give an umbrella (the locals probably didn't understand and didn't care).~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~A soldier takes care of his subordinates with self-respectA service boss who surrounds his bossA group of people who don’t understand are pretending to be dumbfounded
