This is my first hot spring inn in Takeda, Oita Prefecture. The first thing that surprised me was the hot springs at Yamayu. There are two hot springs...The first small hot spring has a temperature that is just right for your skin → The next hot spring in the back is quite hot. There was a lot of mountain sand in the hot springs, and it felt like it was on my body, which was a first for me.You can take a bath in a hot spring with just the right amount of heat...and there is an open-air bath right outside the door. (It's not included...)My sons went to Ramune Onsen, which is about a 10 minute drive.I was staying at Yama-no-Yu Kazuyo ♨️... I was told that the price would be cheaper if I just said, but I didn't know that, so it seemed like I paid the normal price. The food for dinner was very delicious. The rice is very delicious.I was given rice, but I ate it all.(Local beer will be your first gift☆ One to a small bottle will be provided.)The room was for 4 people. It was a very clean and clean room with two beds and a Japanese-style room with futons. The proprietress of the inn and everyone working there were kind and smiling people. It was a very satisfying hot spring trip. thank you.

For those who stop by and use the hot springs...It seems that you will not be able to drop by and use the hot springs every Tuesday and Friday due to maintenance.(Reception until 14:00 → Drop-in bath ends at 14:30)

Although it is a bit far from the center of Nagayu, it is an inn with very warm and kind hospitality. The hot water is excellent. Due to the strong hot spring ingredients, the bath is covered with deposits that resemble a limestone cave. It's not a long, cold bath, but a nice hot spring.

It was an indescribable experience to take a bath separated by a wall made of columnar joints. I think you can expect the water to crystallize and become more effective! ️
