Traditional ryokan. Highly recommendedWe had a great experience onsen here.We booked the room in the new building, it’s a lot of stairs but we loved it there. We enjoyed the private onsen room in different types and views. The food they prepared was fantastic with very good selection of food to try and special was the horse sashimi. The service was great, staffs speak English and Chinese. Everything was perfect very pleasant and very relaxing. Definitely 100/10

A very comfortable and retro hotel. We stayed in the main hotel. Although the main hotel is relatively in an alley, the staff will help park the car in the parking lot of the annex after arrival. There are many Noikiri hot springs in the hotel, and the ratio of the number of rooms to Noikiri hot springs is very good. There are five open-air Noikiri hot springs, and there are many more indoor Noikiri hot springs. The standing baths are very interesting; guests staying here can choose their favorite hot springs at any time. Even the public hot springs are rarely used. It is highly recommended for travelers who like hot springs to stay here for one night.

It is not recommended to go to the hot springs on the same day as the men’s bath. There is only one bath for visitors and no amenities at all.Just think of it as going to a hot spring in the mountains by yourself.

Along the Tanohara River, in the middle of Kurokawa Onsen town. Opposite Kurokawa Jizo. Next door is Jizoyu, a public bath. I definitely consider this inn when I'm just staying for one night or moving to another place. The inside of the building has a calm Japanese-style atmosphere. The main bath is an open-air bath on the banks of the Tanohara River, across the Taiko Bridge. An open-air bath with a rustic feel along the riverbank. I like this place. On the other hand, if you leave the bookstore and go to the outbuildings and climb the stairs at the back of the parking lot, you will find several private baths. There are various tastes, and if you don't make a reservation and it's not locked, you can enter right away. Would you like a standing bath where you can soak slowly? There are 15 baths in total. I uploaded a photo of the dinner, but on this day I chose Aso black beef teppanyaki. Even if you don't, the dishes made with seasonal, local ingredients are always delicious. By the way, I forgot to take a photo, but the breakfast was healthy and delicious. The number of inbound tourists (and in groups) is increasing considerably, but it's really a waste to stay overnight without meals and eat at a restaurant. Am I the only one who thinks Kurokawa Onsen is not a place to come in a group? Kurokawa and his wife are repeat visitors from Tokyo. Let's go again
